very happy with our twin room on first floor which was just right for myself and my 11yr old son. very clean bathroom. nice little seating area with comfy chairs to relax in and good sized opening window for ventilation which was necessary during the night as it was rather hot in the room! room service was also excellent, attended by 2 members of staff and food nicely presented/prepared. A good value hotel.

Room Tip: i understand the preferred rooms are on lower floors due to ceiling angles created by the roof makin...

For a one-night stopover this hotel was ok-ish. The staff were pleasant and the food was reasonable; but the bedroom window looked out directly onto a sloping roof of the hotel (nothing else was visible), so it served no purpose other than to let light in. There was a function being held in the hotel and the small uninspiring restaurant we were directed to for dinner had no windows! The weather limited our options of dining elsewhere.

Thank you for your review. The rooms in the hotel are all slightly different and a few of the front facing rooms on one particular floor do overlook the roof, these are the bedrooms i am concentrating on for the re-furbishment of the bathrooms, i do hope you come and stay with us again to see what work has been carried out, the bathrooms are more contempory with baige tiling and chrome fixtures and fittings.

The really nice thing about St Pierre is that it's small enough for them to remember you as a regular customer - it's not the most convenient location for when I'm in Yorkshire but it is the closest thing to the familiarity of home. And last night I even saw a fox from my bedroom window!

Thank you for your review. I am very pleased that you choose to stay with us, it's nice for the staff to get to know the regulars, it makes for a more relaxing environment in the lounge/bar area. I hope it also helps having a choice of freeview channels and sky in the bar. I hope i get to see the fox, we had baby ducklings up from the dam the other week, that tried to check in themsevles!

Stayed for 1 night and had dinner in the restaurant. Fillet of beef was outstanding and the service was excellent, with great attention to detail. Hard to believe I was eating in a Best Western - no disrepect.
Bedroom was clean and fresh smelling with very clean bathroom. Extremely friendly staff and we would definitely stay there again if business takes us to Wakefield. Highly recommended and can't think of one thing I could fault.
Well done and many thanks for making our stay so enjoyable! Northern hospitality at its best.

Thank you for your review, Nothern Hospitality at it's best is definately something to be proud about and i will show your review to my staff. Our Restaurant 3 Course Dinner is priced at £19.95 with a supplement charge for the Fillet of £3.00, which you can't grumble at, our meat is from a local supplier who always has good quality steaks and fillets. I hope other customers come and try for themselves. Thanks again and hope to see again.

We stayed over at Hotel St Pierre on our wedding night after having our wedding party. It was just amazing and all our guests including ourselves only had lots of praise. The food was perfect, service flawless and wedding coordinator was spot on.
I wish the Hotel had something in place to go time go slower so we could enjoy it all a bit longer :-)

Thanks again for the lovely time and we will be back on several of your tribute nights as well as anniversary!!

We stayed here for 5 days with our young daughter for a few days exploring the delights of Yorkshire - it was a great experience. The location is lovely, very pretty but handy for the M1, there are a number of good local restaurants and an Asda if you forget anything crucial just 5 mins drive away.

The staff are all friendly, helpful and welcoming and the hotel is sparkling clean and efficient with yummy, reasonablly-priced food. We stayed in an Executive room which was fine - although by their own admission quite small (the bathroom was tiny) and the bed wasn't as comfortable as we hoped for a room of this standard but the linen and pillows were good quality.

We would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a clean, efficent, welcoming home from home in a lovely setting. Thanks to all the fab staff at the St Pierre for making this a lovely, relaxing break.

Room Tip: Rooms at the back are dark but much cooler in summer

Thank you for your review.
We are fortunate to be located in the countryside but still very close to the M1 motorway. The West Yorkshire Sculpture Park and Hepworth Gallery are both a short drive in either direction which makes for a great day trip out.
We now offer all guests staying for 3 nights or more a 'Home from Home' pack which includes little goodies such as, slippers, chocolate, water, magazines and some cinema vouchers.
