On the 19th May we arrived at the Sahara Services Kasbah, from there we traveled by 4wd deep into the Sahara Desert. The driver Assou and our guide Yousef made the trip by telling us alot about the desert, animals and plants, eventually we arrived at our camp for the night, it was superbly kitted out with dining room, entertainment area and all the bedroom tents had toilets and even showers. We went for a sunset camel ride, had a superb meal , harrara soup, tagine and watermelon made by our cook Abderazak who did a fabulous job it was delicious this was followe4 by an evenings entertainment of singing and drumming by the lads which we all thoroughly enjoyed, a sound nights sleep was had by all our party, then we rose to watch the sun come up, we had a lovely breakfast and then back to civilisation via a fossil hunt, thankyou for that Asou. The whole trip was amazing everyone worked hard to make sure we enjoyed it a big thanks also to Radouane the organisor.n

We were impressed with the range of activities Sahara Services had to offer. We booked at the office in Marrakech and Jawad offered us a few alternatives to suit our budget. After a long bus ride to M'Hamid, we were picked up from the station and greeted with a 3 course meal - just what we needed after a long day. Rooms were basic and clean with the added bonus of air conditioning in the 45+ degree heat. Staff were friendly and welcoming. The next day "Red wine" (what he referred to himself as), showed us around a local Kasbah demonstrating how the local people live. This was followed by a trip around Hassans museum in... Which was both interesting and informative. After lunch, we were driven in a new jeep through the desert to Erg Chigaga en route stopping for photos. By chance we stopped at a Berbere camp where a marriage was taking place - a great experience. We were exceedingly impressed with the camp and its facilities; the proper beds, en suites, electricity and hot water. We enjoyed sand boarding, the camel trek and dinner in the afternoon/evening. Following our meal, our guide stated the stars were better a little away from the lights of the camp. Being two young female travellers, we felt content to be with the guide who had accompanied us throughout the day. However, we did not realise our guide had also invited the chef. Both men left us feeling very uncomfortable forcing us to return to our tent alone. The rest of the night we felt uneasy due to the isolation in the desert topped off by the behaviour of our guide and the chef. We were sure this wasn't a matter of course but for us, it ruined what would have been a perfect desert experience.

We took a five day trip out of Marrakesh to the atlas mountains and desert, with South Sahara Services. This was a terrific trip, well organised and executed! I'll comment on each hotel individually but the Kasbah at M'hamid was great. The kasbah is on the edge of the village, which is at the end posture road before the desert. The room was comfortable and air conditioned- essential to escape the heat of the day. We arrived in really evening, are a tasty dinner and watched the stars. Breakfast and off for a camel trip the next morning with a berber guide. It is essential to have a scarf on this, though they do sell them there if you haven't picked one up before.

Street lunch we were advised to rest in our room before we headed out to the desert at 4pm.it was so hot, getting out if it was essential. We drove for two hours to the desert camp through fascinating and beautiful terrain. The camp was great, comfortable, with shower and toilet in our tent, and on the edge of the big dunes at erg chigaga, where we explored then watched the sun set. Dinner was goods followed by the drivers and staff singing under the stars which was truly memorable. We got up for sunrise too which was strange and surreal before breakfast and ether next leg of our trip.

A special note for Hassan our driver who was charming, funny, sensitive to our needs and what we wanted to get out of the trip.

I can't recommend the trip enough. Jawad at the office in Marrakesh is efficient and supportive. We rendered everything over email, paid a deposit by bank transfer and credit card for the balance before we set off.

Just returned from an amazing trip to Morocco.

We used the Sahara Services for the 1A: magic sunset camel trek.

They have been very professional with high quality of provided services. We started from the Kasbah with 2 guides and we reached the camp site after 1:30 hours. We were greeted there by a Berber who is responsible to guard the place and is an amazing person although he did not speak French or English. The site is very clean, the tents are well set-up and food is excellent! Nothing better than a nice dinner under the stars.

In the morning we had a nice breakfast and we returned to the Kasbah where we were given a room to rest and wash before the long trip to Marrakech.

I did not expect such high quality services in the middle of the dessert and those gys beat all expectations. Although a long drive from Marrakech, it is worth the effort. If i knew it would be so nice i would have stayed longer there :-)

We did made up our travelschedule by email from Holland with Sahara Services, we wanted to make a trip for some days, passing the atlas, see nice kashaba's, Ait Benhadou and sleep in the desert.
Also the days before in Marrakech the reserverd a very nice riad for us.
The trip was very well organized, the car and driver were perfect and we did enjoy the week very much. The evening/night in Erg chigaga we will never forget. Especially we were very happy that when our son was ill they were very flexible and we could change/adapt our travel schedule. We certain will come back to Marroc! Many thanks to Sahara Services!!

Just came back from Sahara trip. It's a great experience!
Thanks to Sahara Services! The tents/hotels/riads we stay are clean and tastefully decorated. The food is clean and good. Special thanks to Mr. Jawad Omari. He responds our email promptly when we plan our trip. No matter what our requirements are, he always has solutions. He is a reliable, trustworthy professional. Special thanks to our driver/guide --Mr. Khalid Ait Haddou. He is a handsome guy with a warm heart, always polite, always smile, always ready to help. He is an excellent driver!
Together, they make our trip smoothly, enjoyably, memorably!

If I go to Sahara again, inchalah, i'll go with Sahara Services, go with Jawad, go with Khalid!

We stayed in a double room at the Hotel Kasbah Sahara Services. The room had a toilet and shower within the room (they also have rooms that use the clean, communal facilities instead). The rate included breakfast plus a delicious dinner (excluding drinks), and was a bargain. Not luxurious, but perfectly fine for a night. The free wi-fi is only accessible while in the manager's office but this wasn't a particular hardship. We were offered a free tour of M'hamid and the interesting kasbah with Musa (obviously it would be nice to tip your guide) after we'd settled in.

We left our rental car parked at the hotel while we went to Erg Chigaga the following day and night with Sahara Services. Mohammed was our guide, and unfortunately we weren't sure of our driver's name (it starts with an "A"...). They were both fantastic. The drive to Erg Chigaga was fun. On arrival at our tents we were served tea and peanuts, then later a good lunch. Our tent had a comfortable double bed and smaller bathroom tent attached. The shower didn't really work but we had decided beforehand to minimise water usage in the desert anyway, so had come prepared with wipes instead (you could always take the top off the water tank and have a bucket shower if you wished). There is also a camp toilet in the tent. We slept well, and kept warm - couldn't ask for more.

The dinner was great, we were sure the food had been brought in from M'hamid but were assured that there is actually a chef on-site who had prepared everything. Dinner was followed by music and singing from all the staff. I appreciated their efforts, considering they would have worked all day, but think some guests would have rather gone to bed. Perhaps just a couple of songs would be fine?

We were very happy with both the hotel, and tour provided by Sahara Services and would heartily recommend them for a wonderful experience at Erg Chigaga.
