“Good location, dog-friendly but disappointing”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed March 17, 2014

Hotel staff were barely friendly - when I told them we had a dog with us, we were promptly told this necessitated an extra charge. I asked if the shuttle to Disney would allow dogs, the lady at the desk said she would check for us but never did. Apparently dogs while requiring an extra charge also translated to no room service as we stayed for two nights and had no cleaning (thought the dog was with us) or change of sheets, towels. I wouldn't stay here again - we stayed primarily because it was one of the few hotels that accepted dogs. There is a coffee machine but no coffee filters or packs of coffee. Don't waste your money on the breakfast 11 Euros per person, yikes. We declined, what we saw was coffee, juice machine some bread and cold meat cuts. If you walk 5 minutes you'll find a very nice McDonalds.

Room Tip: Avoid rooms on the outside corridor, very noisy walkway - people continually hanging out smoking and...

We have been staying for one night and that was sufficient! Ok, everything is present, from dishwasher to washing machine and TV, a three bedroom house and a sofabed for in total 8 people but it lacks of maintenance and is a bit dingy. Other house also have a downstairs bedroom with an ensuite but this is mainly for disabled persons. There was no curtain blocking the bathroom window so we almost showered in front of the people who were waiting for the bus... we draped the showercurtain in front of it. There is no rail or point to hang the showerhead so the only option is to hold it yourself and be sure you're not over 5'10" (1.75mtr) because the tube is not long enough! The blinds were stuck and cooldn't go up or down. It's old but clean and like i mentioned, with kids or a group of youngsters it's fine. The beds are superb! Lovely matrasses and we slept like babies :-) We paid about € 100,- only for the whole house, I would say it's a bargen.

After reading recent reviews of this property I was a little worried about going as recent reviews seemed worse than when I originally booked the holiday.
When I booked the accommodation my expectation (considering the price) were that we would be staying in accommodation where if Travelodge did villas this is what you would get and to be honest that is what we got.

We were a party of 6 adults and 1 child sleeping in an 8 person villa for 4 nights.
The villa (no 5) was very spacious and there was a double bedroom downstairs with ensuite shower room and upstairs were 2 double bedrooms with a bathroom. As my daughter is only 3 and a half we took her ready bed with us so we could make sure we were together which was ideal. All the bedrooms were big with really good storage space. Considering the size of the villa and the fact that it was November the villa was always kept warm by the small heaters on the wall.

If you are looking to go to Disney but not pay Disney prices I would definitely recommend here to stay. Right outside the complex is a bus stop where you get the number 34 straight to Disney Village (Chessy Gare). If you get on the bus going the other way at the last stop you come to a massive shopping centre called Val d'Europe. Worth a look if you are having a break in between going to Disney (just remember it's shut on a Sunday).
There is also 2 small supermarket/take away/bank/and bakery 10 min walk away which we utilised when staying at the villa. One of the supermarkets (Coccimarket) was open 7 days a week 08.30am-8.00pm

The staff at reception were always really helpful and a pleasure to deal with.

There were a few things which perhaps could be improved on but certainly didn't affect our stay. These would be:
The kitchen could do with being a bit better equipt. There was no kettle so we boiled water in a pan which was no big thing. There wasn't enough cups if everyone wanted a cuppa at the same time.
There is no wifi in the rooms. I asked about this and they confirmed the villas had ethernet cable access but wifi is only available in reception.

Overall this accommodation met our needs. We went to Disney for the weekend and needed somewhere for us all to stay that was comfy and where all 7 of us could be together.

The place is nothing like the photos that they provide. is outdated. bug infested. horrible smell.
when asked for new sets of sheets, staff arrived and was annoyed with our requests. Upon leaving the area, staff cursed at us thinking we all could not speak french. i would not send an enemy to this rubbish

Stayed for 2 night. Was expecting basic and this was! Bed linen and towels supplied were clean but carpets v worn and cobwebs in all rooms.
Bathroom very basic and shower had no wall attachment so you couldn't stand under.
Kitchen had no kettle or scissors or lids for the pans!
Transfer into Disney using the public bus cheap and easy though the service on Sunday was not as published.
Wouldn't say don't stay here but check deals around and if you do go for here don't expect a lot for your money.

OK, its cheap and its near Disneyland, but that doesnt excuse the filthy rooms with stained carpets and broken furniture. The apartment was also crawling with beetles and ants. Outside, the place resembled a prisoner of war camp with broken shutters and no lighting at night. There were also large groups of french men drinking outside several apartments.

The reception staff were disinterested and barely looked up to acknowledge me when I arrived and left.

The standard of this place is incredibly poor I would not recommend it to my worst enemies.

Room Tip: Rooms at another hotel would be cleaner...
