This "Disney Select" hotel is officially sanctioned by Disney, is affiliated with the Disneyland Paris Resort, has a free shuttle bus to the park every 5-10 minutes, and even has a Disney Store within the hotel. It's not, however a "Disney Hotel" as the Kyriad company run the hotel. There are three other hotels next door, the Holiday Inn, the Dream Castle, and the Explorers. Pink shuttle buses serve these every few minutes, and there was always room on the bus as Kyriad was either first or second on the journey, although it sometimes filled up before getting to the other hotels.

This hotel isn't a fantastic 5* luxury resort. It's a fairly basic clean hotel. It is themed as a French country house I guess, but that basically means white, off-white, and wood colourings, with nice natural paintings etc. The only real complaint we had was the mattress was a bit saggy on one side, so one of us was tossing and turning more than usual. All in all, for the price you pay, being a 3 minute free shuttle bus ride from Disneyland Paris, it's a great bargain!

We visited in the days before Halloween, and all of the staff were in costume as witches or vampires. They all seemed to be in the spirit of Disney's Halloween celebration, with lots of smiles. They had free face painting for kids, and loads of decorations in reception and the restaurant. It was a great atmosphere for us adults, and even more so for kids!

Breakfast is pretty good - it's all cold foods, but a good assortment. Yoghurts, fruits, cereals, ham and cheese with various breads, hot drinks, croissants, and other pastries. It's enough to fill you up in the morning! The down side of breakfast is that the hotel has so many rooms but so few tables, so they make you pick a 30 minute slot to arrive for breakfast. If the hotel is full and you check-in last, you may be stuck eating before 7.30 or after 9.30.

If you want a luxury retreat, don't stay here. If you want a clean basic hotel with nice staff, good for kids, close to the park, at a great price, this is a good buy.

I have just returned from 4 nights at the Kyriad which was great. We booked through octopus travel which was a bargain.

Upon arriving into CDG airport we headed for the shuttle bus which cost 16 Euro per adult and took approx 1 hour to the hotel. We arrived early so checked our luggage in to the baggage room and headed for Disney land Paris where the Disney buses arrive at the hotel every 15 minutes it then takes just 5 minutes on the Pink 54 bus.

We checked in later that evening into the room which was has 1 large double bed and bunk beds, a dressing table with Tv, 2 wardrobes, coffee and tea making facilities, hairdryer and climate control within the room.

Our stay included breakfast where you choose your time from reception. the breakfast room was large with a choice of bread rolls, ham, cheese, cereals, croissants with honey, jam or chocolate spread, chocolate croissants, fruit and yoghurts. Also tea, coffe, hot chocolate, orange and apple juice.

Within the hotel there is a bar, disney shop, luggage room , internet access and games room. drinks from the bar are cheap and the atmosphere is great with both indoor and outdoor seating areas.

Within the hotel you can purchase your Disney park passes which I would reccommed doing as the Q's for tickets was really long or alternatively you can buy from your local Disney stores in the UK for the same price.

On our last day we needed to be at the airport before the airport shuttle bus started running so we booked a taxi from reception which cost 100 euros. and needs to be booked in advance.

Over all this hotel was great definatly worth more than a 2*, with the amount of time you spend within the hotel there is no need to go to any other!

I stayed at the Kyriad Hotel in March with my 3 year old daughter. I chose this hotel due to its reasonable rates and close proximity to Disneyland. We took the Eurostar from Ashford and arrived at Marne le Vallee train station which is right outside Disneyland. There is a bus terminal right there and different colour coded buses take you to various Disney-appointed hotels. Apart from the "on-site" hotels such as New York, Newport Bay, Davy Crockett, Santa Fe etc., Hotel Kyriad is one of three other newly built hotels about a 10 minute bus drive away. The bus to the hotels Kyriad, Holiday Inn, Explorer and Movenpick is pink and the journey does take about 10 minutes. The hotel itself was spotlessly clean. It didn't have much in the way of leisure facilities but who needs that when Disneyland is only 10 minutes away. It provided a very good base. We went bed and breakfast and there was a buffet breakfast each morning with a good selection. The hotel has no-smoking rooms and lifts to each floor. The reception is very nice with helpful staff. There is a bar, small gift shop and an electronic games room. There is also a small carousel for young children. The rooms were very nice with TV, hospitality tray, good wardrobe space and very comfy beds (we had a twin). The bathroom was lovely with full bath and shower. It's only graded a 2 star but probably because of lack of facilities. Otherwise, the standard of what was provided was very good. The free of charge bus picks you up right outside the hotel door and takes you to Disneyland. Bus runs every 15 minutes. I would definitely stay there again. It's a good budget option but the hotel doesn't feel like you're "slumming it". Reasonably close to Disneyland though probably wouldn't want to walk it, although this would be possible (probably around 25 minutes I would say).

I stayed for 3 nights in this hotel with my wife and daughter. Upon arrival we were greated with warmth and helpfulness. We found all our amenities with the greatest of ease and our room was kept spotlessly clean and tidy. We had a wonderful time at EuroDisney and knowing we were going back to a safe and friendly envoiroment put the cherry on the cake! Would strongly recomend staying here. We will if we come back to EuroDisney.
