Positives of trip: clean pool, good play area, regular shuttle bus to park.
Negatives: There was no atmosphere in the hotel at all. Only for the single, out of the way Disney shop on the reception floor, you wouldn't know where you were. The lift/elevator layout was rediculous. The odd numbered floors have lifts beside reception, the even numbered floors have lifs on the other side of the building. Rooms sterile in design and decor, very basic and dull. In our room, the sink was blocked, the word "poo" was written on the toilet door in some spray, two floor tiles in bathroom were physically separate from the floor, beds were "made" in a rush + creases and lumps of lint on bed sheets + edges not tucked under etc, tops of curtains full of dust and webbing, and to top it all off my daughters shoes were stolen from the room. Reported all of the above apart from shoes to reception, and only the sink was fixed, the leathal floor tiles were left loose with sharp edges. Then reported the theft to reception, they checked with someone and nothing was handed in, they went to check some room and found nothing. That was it, no explanation, nothing.
First time in this hotel, previous nine years spent in Disney hotels with no issues, I won't be leaving the Disney hotels again. And just in case there's any dispute, I took photos of the tiles, toilet door, sink and curtains. I don't complain, but this was beyond anything I've ever encountered, it even drove me to sign up here and let people know what they may encounter.
