“NO NEED TO BE TOO GREEDY”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 24, 2009

There is nothing wrong to write on that luxury hotel.
That, beside the 22$ that they charge for internet in the room.
When you book yourself to such an hotel you expect to get it for free as you can have it on a lot of coffee shop, restaurants, etc., but ot charge such a huge amount of money for such a basic service that even doesn't cost the hotel, it is like a robbery.
Same goes for using the copy machine in the room (charge by page) as no one is going to print book at the hotel.
For 250$ a night you expect to have this services for free.

The Venetian is a self sufficeint place with a huge casino, and a great shopping arcade. There is a variety of cuisine available. It has over 3000 rooms. A huge larger than life casino makes the place exciting. The place is lit up and never sleeps. Shows like Zaia make it more exciting. The Gondola Ride is a must
Some minuses: Too huge, makes one tired getting from one place to the other
Resturants are too time bound, 5 mins late and no food/breakfast. Not too customer friendly in this aspect
Beware of the women in the casino if youve gon ewith your family

The Venetian is the most amazing resort i have ever come across ... the suits are huge and luxurious ... the resort had 30 odd restaurants and a shopping area as big as a city with all top international brands ... the only thing missing is an Indian restaurants in the list ... They also host show called Zaia show, where the performers will amaze you till the last second .. the casino i think would be one of the biggest if not the biggest in Asia . . there is much more than i can think or write about ... so i suggest a personal visit to experience all of it ...

The rooms in the venetian are excellent , they are just too good and my family totally loved it. The pools which they have for guests are amazing whether its the kids pool , the adults pool or the jacuzzi.
The shopping scene on level three is just out of this world , name a brand and they have it whether it is chopard, cartier , omega or coach.

The only thing lacking in the hotel is its service. It takes 30 mins for your luggage to arrive and anything you ask for takes around 20 - 25 mins to reach.
Except the service I totally loved the venetian.

The Venetian Macao hotel is undoubtedly huge, splendid and picturesque. The problem lies with the fact that the hotel seems to be more of a tourist attraction and not a hotel. There are thousands of visitors all day and night and hence the hotel is not able to do justice with the residents. The minimum per night room rate is approximately 400 US $ and the hotel does not provide basics like welcome drink, cookies, fruit basket etc. which is a regular affair in the most humble 5 stars. Also the room was not cleaned well, shockingly an used sanitary napkin was found in our room on check in. The hotel is so much crowded that the bell desk is not able to cope up with the guest baggage. Also the restaurant Cafe decor discriminates amongst customers based on nationality,i.e more preference to Chinese. Also we were surprised when the restaurant presented the same menu in the buffet for two consecutive days.My advice is that, one must not waste money staying at this hotel, infact you can stay at less expensive and better managed hotels like Royal Macao where the service and amenities are much better but Venetian Macao is definitely worth visiting during your stay in Macao.

Sorry for this late review was very busy... This trip was

This hotel was super exclusive... I had fun shopping. There are so many shops that I can't even visit all in one day... I wanted to use their wi-fi but it was so expensive... Not sure how much. The Bella Suite is so big... It even has a sunken living room. I really wish i could have stayed there longer...

The rooms were cleaned and serviced in a timely manner, all staff engaged in all areas were very customer service focused. The conference breakfasts provided a great array of foods to suit all tastes. Drinks were not cheap but there was plenty of variety. Typical of all casinos there were plenty of choices in relation to shopping, restaurants, entertainment and gambling. Free shuttle buses provided ample access to the city. I would strongly recommend this resort casino as a destination venue.
