I was a bit pessimistic about staying here. I was expecting crowds and a non-relaxed atmosphere. However I was pleasantly surprised.
Check-in can be a bit overwhelming given the scale of the hotel. It is confusing and can be frustrating just to find your room. The rooms are pretty nice. Nothing super great buy everything we needed traveling with our 2 and 6 year old boys. Did I mention a typhoon hit on day two of our four day stay. Days two and three the pool was closed and some activities cancelled. Staff was great about it.
We did go to the pool the first day and it was a blast. My six year old was entertained for hours by the slide. Indoor kidz land is awesome but best to go when it opens. It did not get crowded until one. Even with the typhoon we had a fun time. All of the food venues we went to provided high quality food so kudos to the food and beverage manager. Even room service dinner one night was fantastic. Breakfast buffet could use some work but this comes from an American. Compared to the other restaurants it is just not up to their standards. But I get it. It is a breakfast buffet that is likely given away. McSorelys pub had great snacks and a nice beverage collection.
This resort was fantastic for my kids and I would return again but not in typhoon season. We are not gamblers but were thoroughly entertained.
