It is one of the few affordable star hotels in Macau. Many tourist attractions are located nearby including the famous hotel venetian They have also a free shuttle bus service every hour to hotel venetian.there are Indian eateries and convenience stores nearby However the building badly needs a facelift, at least a coat of painting on building Despite being rated 3 star hotel, breakfast is not free Our 3 day stay in the hotel was comfortable however they do not provide free internet or wifi not even in common area or lobby though they advertise to provide free internet .

Room Tip: ask for front building room facig the main street

The staff were friendly but had communication problems. The room was large but the mattress was hard. The bathroom was OK but only 1 bar of soap was provided. The hotel had only 1 van that ferries guests around the city ending at the Macau ferry terminal. The hotel is across the bus stop. The place is near the Venetian and the City of Dreams. No breakfast although the ads said free. The food choices at breakfast was poor, fortunately the hotel was near restaurants that offer nice Chinese dishes. Around 10 minutes from the airport but the taxi drivers demand double pay because of the luggage. Nice place to stay if only for a couple of days.

Room Tip: Get a room on the uppers floors. The view of the city is spectacular.

I chose the hotel because it was one of the cheapest I can find in Macau/Taipa area. I booked through Agoda which says it comes with breakfast. But the counter staff told me no breakfast included.

When I walked into the entrance of the hotel, the whole place smelled of smoke. Counter staff was rude and unhelpful. First they said they couldnt find my booking. Then they gave me a smoking floor even though I asked for non smoking on my booking. They told me the whole of Macau is banned from smoking, so there's no difference between smoking or non smoking floor.

On the first day, I forgotten what my room number was and went to the counter to ask for help. They did not know I could understand Cantonese. One counter staff told the counter staff that was handling my request in Cantonese "Oh you are so lucky, got this animal with such request!" Then she told me that she cannot find which room I am in. And after 10-15 min she relunctantly told me my room number.

The room was really big, but old, not extremely clean and smell of smoke. Windows were dusty and dirty. Bed is hard as rock and pillows were so small and flat. TV remote was not working and TV was ancient.

When checking out, I asked if they could help me get a cab as it was raining. Their reply was "It's faster if you go out and flag one yourself".

In short, I will never return to this hotel and I would rather pay more for a better hotel. Moral of the story is, dont shrimp on hotel. It absolutely spoils the experience.

This hotel was advertised as being a good place to stay by Best Western, but what you got was completely different. There is a non smoking rule in Macau now, but if your hotel has any gaming rooms people can smoke there. The room always smells of smoke. The staff are unfriendly. You are held hostage if you get laundry done, you have to pay for it to get it back. The breakfast room smells like a swamp and the pool has no water in it. The breakfast food was not worth the money. The beds were rock hard and pillows smelt of smoke. Overall the experience was not what I would have expected for a hotel charging $150 AUD for 3 nights.

Room Tip: If you are a smoker or can stand the smell of smoke, don't care that the hotel smells, prepared...

This hotel is an example of an average demonstration by a big brand. Rooms are big, but cleanliness needs improvement. The service is not up to the mark - in most of the times we had to do follow ups. Very few choices for breakfast. Responsiveness is ordinary. They could not provide us a non smoking room.
The good part is, it is located in a good spot - well connected by Macau bus network to all across Macau & Taipa. They have complimentary shuttle service to Macau ferry terminal which was quite helpful with luggage etc.
