“Pious but crowded”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 5, 2015 NEW

A unique experience of the Buddhist worship, but this place is very crowded. The unique thing (or me, at least) was the bursting of crackers inside the temple premises as part of paying your obeisance! The courtyard around the temple is an amazing place to spend some time and getting clicked!

“Oldest temple in Macau”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 29, 2015 NEW

Nice old temple to visit when you are in Macau. There are souvenir shops beside the temple, selling delicious egg tarts.

“Something Very Old in Macau”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 26, 2015

Because Macau was a Portuguese colony for a very long time, some really old Chinese relics are still being preserved. The A-Ma Temple is one of them. The temple is located in a park-like plaza and various structures are located higher up the hill. It is necessary to climb up the stairs to see everything, but the view from the top is spectacular.

“Nice temple”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 25, 2015

I recommend this to everybody to visit.
It's a nice temple, crowded with people but you must see it because it's different from the European culture.

It's free entrance and you don't wast a lot of time there because it's not so big like that.
Have some souvenirs selling inside for low prices.
Very easy to find the way for him it's "near" Macau tower, and Macau have a lot of bus with all the informations that you need to reach him.
