“Quaint place to spend at least 2-3 hours”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 9, 2014

Beautiful village, filled with small alleyways and standalone shops selling everything from specialty tea to home-baked cookies. Rua do Cunha is by far the busiest and most well-known street, but you would be well served to explore further up to the museums, Our Lady of Carmel church, and the old Portuguese houses. Don't miss the egg tarts at San Hou Lei, due to the high turnover they're always served fresh and piping hot, beat the ones at Lord Stow's any day.

“Different Macanese atmosphere”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 8, 2014

A trip to the village of Taipa is a nice way to spend a couple of hours. The houses and shops display the characteristics of a seaside village, but are now landlocked, making it quite unique. There are some nice temples and a few good places to eat and have coffee. Definitely worth your time and worthy of a visit.

“Great little local color neighborhood”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 25, 2014

A 10 minute walk from the Four Seasons Hotel. Good restaurants and many Portuguese Cookie shops where you can taste before you buy. Best cookies EVER!

“Good to walk around”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 13, 2014

It was good to walk around with historical views. It doesn't have many things to see, but if you like to walk around rather than visit crowd places, it is good to walk around.
