“So tiny compared to the one in Bellagio, Las Vegas”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed December 28, 2012

So tiny compared to the one in Bellagio, Las Vegas. I remember I was in awe when I first saw Bellagio's fountain because of its size. With Wynn's, it was too underwhelming. It was also kinda short, just one song. So if you don't like the music selection, then theres no second chances.

“Too short but entertaining...”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 26, 2012

Too short but just nice to entertain the crowd. The fountain water performance is located right in front of the captivating city view, it was a great atmosphere!

“Fountain Show”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 15, 2012

The fountain show here is nice. It seems like the water is really swaying and dancing with the music being played. Be sure to catch it from start to finish.

“Spectacular”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 4, 2012

What a show. Every 15 minutes for about 3 minutes a stunning dancing light and water cascade set to music. Well worth waiting between each show as they are different. I rate this as an evening event one of the best.

“Water therapy at Wynn Macau!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 11, 2012

The Performance Lake at Wynn Macau is often compared with the world renowned Bellagio Fountains in Las Vegas – that in itself should tell you that it is a pretty good show.

Set to classical music and some popular Broadway tunes, this show which runs about 5 minutes takes place every fifteen minutes, from 11am to midnight, in the open waters in front of the Wynn. Admission is free of charge.

The jets from the fountains draw graceful patterns in the air as their waters rise, fall, shoot, spray and sway sensuously from side to side, synchronized with the background music. Quite apart from the spectacle, take my word for it, its therapeutically relaxing...

Hint 1: While the show is on from 11am onwards, it obviously has the most stunning, dramatic visual impact only after dusk, say after 7pm, since that is when the tasteful illumination adds its shimmer to the waters – the plumes of water and fire dancing in the air is nothing short of breathtaking.

Hint 2: It is a pretty good idea to come back for repeat performances if you have the time - because the spectacular water patterns do change as does the background music.

Hint 3: Macau can get humid in the evenings - go to Performance Lake, judge the wind direction and position yourself to get the benefit of some soothing spray - you bet its refreshing!

With their three complimentary shows - Performance Lake, Tree of Prosperity and Dragon of Fortune - the Wynn Macau certainly must be the recipients of much goodwill from those visiting Macau.
