We stopped by the Dairy Queen located just below the Ruins of St. Paul during our recent trip to Macau for one of their blizzard (MOP25 - regular size) desserts, which are quite famous in the United States where this franchise originates.
What is fun is to watch them hold the dessert upside down to show you that it is so thick that it won't budge or fall from the cup. Hadn't seen this in years and it was just as remembered from a stop at a US Dairy Queen many years ago.
We tried the Hazelnut Almond Blizzard and found it full of crunchy and delicious hazelnuts and nicely flavored almond ice cream. Overall, it was quite tasty and much enjoyed. Melted a bit too fast for our liking but it was a nice treat to share and eat while walking around near the Ruins of St. Paul.
Overall, not sure I'd choose this over local dessert shops, like LemonCello Gelato shop off Senado Square but its a good and fun stop, especially if you've not tried this dessert before.
