“Dairy Queen blizzards - American blended ice-cream treat”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 21, 2012

We stopped by the Dairy Queen located just below the Ruins of St. Paul during our recent trip to Macau for one of their blizzard (MOP25 - regular size) desserts, which are quite famous in the United States where this franchise originates.

What is fun is to watch them hold the dessert upside down to show you that it is so thick that it won't budge or fall from the cup. Hadn't seen this in years and it was just as remembered from a stop at a US Dairy Queen many years ago.

We tried the Hazelnut Almond Blizzard and found it full of crunchy and delicious hazelnuts and nicely flavored almond ice cream. Overall, it was quite tasty and much enjoyed. Melted a bit too fast for our liking but it was a nice treat to share and eat while walking around near the Ruins of St. Paul.

Overall, not sure I'd choose this over local dessert shops, like LemonCello Gelato shop off Senado Square but its a good and fun stop, especially if you've not tried this dessert before.

“Funny ice-cream”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 26, 2012

It is a nice one if you take it during hot summer, the ice-cream tasted a little bit too sweety, but somehow it is nice try as when they give you the ice-cream, they will show that even the ice-cream put upside down, it won't fall..

“So-so”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 8, 2012

The ice-cream was fine but the staff was almost as cold as the blizzard. The staff was more interested in each other than serving their customers.
