“The most affordable place to view pandas”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 8, 2014

We took a taxi to the park entrance, its a short 5mins ride from our hotel at Cotai strip. The ticket booth is a 5-10mins walk from the main entrance, just follow the signs. Admission fee for adults is a mere MOP10 for 1hr of viewing inside the panda enclosure. Everything else in this mini zoo is free of charge!

This place is not touristy at all, we enjoyed viewing the giant pandas in a very peaceful setting. They are absolutely adorable! We ate at the tiny cafe in the park too. More photos on my blog http://midas400.blogspot.sg/2014/01/macau-trip-day-3-macao-giant-panda.html

“Loved this place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 25, 2014

The Macau Giant Panda Pavilion, is so much fun. If you like giant pandas, this is a must see place. We were lucky enough to be there at feeding time for one of the pandas. It was so cools to see this amazing animal, just a few feet away from us.

“loved it”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 14, 2014

Loved visiting the pavilion, the pandas were so cute. They didn't seem to be so animated at first and we were about to leave (with barely a glimpse of either panda) when one of them came closer to the window. I think their feeding time is around 4-4:30 in the afternoon and I would suggest timing your visit around then to avoid disappointment.

“Hard to Find”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 11, 2014

We loved seeing the two giant pandas. But, it was a very difficult place to find & hardly any locals in the village of Coloane even new the giant pandas even existed. This somewhat surprised us.

“So glad we made the trip!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 13, 2013

Two giant pandas are viewable from an enclosed and an open area of the park. We went in the late afternoon and was blessed with a guard who was very talkative and informative. He happily educated our family on the habits and history of Hoi Hoi and Sum Sum. Despite how small the area is, you really feel like you're there with the giant pandas. The pandas have a strict sleep schedule so if you want to catch them out and about, you'll have to get there super early when the park opens, or later in the afternoon after their naptime is over. We went around 3:40pm and it was perfect. They were just about to call it a day but were roaming around freely nibbling on bamboo and lounging around.
