“A fantastic stop along the East-West Heritage Trail”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 10, 2014

A sensitively-conserved complex full of practical, oriental touches. Give yourself half an hour to take in the quiet and the aesthetics of this place.
Try to arrange for a guided tour which would greatly enhance your experience.

“Beautiful Architecture and History!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 5, 2014

It was a wonderful experience visiting this old house. There are two rooms with TV playing documentaries, so you get a grip of history pretty quickly and easily. 1-2 hours is sufficient for the site.
It is a nice area too and a nice walk from the plaza.

I'd recommend this quiet gem to anyone interested in history of Macau. Also don't forget to check out the beautiful gift shop (which is air-conditioned!)

We walked a long way to find this place, but it was worth all the sweat. Definitely a must-see in this city!

“What a great find!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 12, 2014

You can tour the amazingly restored Chinese-style house of the famous Chinese author, Zheng Guanying. It was incredible to step inside the old style Chinese house with living quarters and cozy courtyards. Definitely stop here on the way to A-Ma Temple - you won't regret it!
