“Good view, big room.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 13, 2014

Love this hotel. Definately will come back given the promotion price again. Book through the City of Dream website with MOP950++/night promotion. This hotel provide a very good and friendly service. They have many staff just wating to serve you at the lobby in many languages. The pros: big room, quiet and peaceful area. The room is very clean, the service is good. McD is just at the corner. Staying at 15th floor window facing Venetian Hotel, very nice view. The hotel provide the bus to Galaxy which is nearby Taipa most happening area, with famous food and dessert around. The bad side is, to go to the Macau Island or just to get out of the area before the hotel bus start operating ( which some around 10-11am, first bus), we cross the road and walk 5-7 min just to reach the nearest bus stop. The toilet and bathroom is separated, hence we have to get out from toilet, into bathroom just to wash our hand. Prefer it to be together. Not much hanging place in the toilet. Nothing to do around other than gambling at the night time. No 7-11/ any convinient store. So the only place to get a drink is at McD.
Still, will come back again to this hotel. Nice, big and clean with good service.

Room Tip: Take bus number 25 or 26 ( most common bus) to Macau Island or most of the famous place in Taipa. Cr...

If you book this hotel in advance you benefit from a fairly sizeable discount on your room rate. Book via the hotel site for the best rates.

Brand new hotel on the Cotai strip, so whilst a bit far from the old town, a very regular shuttle bus operates to and from the hotel to numerous destinations in Macau for free. We stayed in a corner suite, which by Chinese standards was massive. We had a separate lounge area with interactive TV and free fruit delivered twice daily. You are able to hire a Fender guitar to your room for free for a personal jam if you play the guitar.

The hotel has a number of good restaurants and high end shops on site and is joined to the Crown hotel and Grand Hyatt as part of the City of Dreams complex. It's also just over the road from the Venetian, so plenty to see and do and explore in addition to gambling and shows.

The minimum bets in the casino are unfortunately high. Most tables are around the MOP300-500 mark (approx £30-£50 per bet) which doesn't really suit Western tastes where gambling is usually a bit of fun as well.

Great overhead showers in the corner suites with jet sprays. Comfy bed and free toiletries which were replenished daily. All mod cons, robes, slippers, coffee and tea making facilities, safe, ironing board and iron, minibar, etc.

My one gripe is that there is still a lot of construction work happening around the hotel, so it's dusty if you venture outside for a walk! This should be sorted fairly soon I would imagine. The hotel is also close enough to walk to the Galaxy hotel and Cotai old town if you fancy getting away from the glitz and glamour for a few hours.

Room Tip: Ask for a room or suite with a view of the Venetian. Higher floors (we stayed on the 16th) are of co...

Its a big Macau hotel so it is what you expect , a well run operation but I thought the staff were exceptional, polite , cheerful and wanted to help . Its a good place to stay , rooms on the higher floors have great views of the Venetian light show in the evening . Convenient location , lots of courtesy buses to the ferry etc.

I stay with my wife for a night at this hotel. The reception staffs were very helpful although we arrived early on our check in date. Generally the hotel look very new and the entertainment provided was very good with free wifi too. We can choose our favourite songs from the tv remote. We also has been allocated with a very splendid view of Venetian.

If you stay in Macau for the House of Dancing Water, this hotel will be the best choice for you. It was situated within the same building with the theatre so it will super convenient to get there.

Went to Hard Rock Hotel Macau for a short stay during the December for my honeymoon. I have nothing but the highest praise for the hotel, from the services, staff to the facilities and hotel room we were given. Our room was luxurious but what impressed me was the service by the staff. Each staff took the trouble to address me by my surname and were eager to help. They not only provided me with info that I asked for but even took the initiative to provide me with further info and their own views on what are better to do and to eat ard. Every night their service staff would come around to give me complimentary bottled water and when I told them it was ok, they actually took the pains to insist that I take the water so that I would be properly hydrated!

I have no complaints but only praise for Hard Rock Hotel Macau.

Booked 2 rooms - (package with two shows) Stayed 2 nights from 18/12/13 till 20/12/13 with my husband and two adult children. ..was very very pleased with their services...very very helpful and friendly staffs who were always on hand to assist us.Loved their shuttle bus services which picked us up from the airport on arrival and was able to use their shuttle bus services throughout our stay (FOR FREE) to all tourist attractions., Maybe the shuttle bus services should start from 10 am instead of 11 am. The only complaint I have is the shuttle bus drivers who are not very "friendly".We enjoyed the House of Dancing Water show...will definitely return to Macau and stay here again and recommend this hotel to my friends ..
