“Reasonable price with good location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 8, 2013

I've been to this hotel for a few times, room is very cosy with a modern bar table. I used to have dim-sum at one of their restaurant "Treasure Palace" Good taste and fair price. This time I was very disappointed with their food, I can see the dim-sun were over steamed and surely below standard. I wonder whether they change the chef?

Room Tip: Don't waste time to find a restaurant and eat in the hotel unless you are a gambler!

Stayed for 2 nights while going to Macau for the Casinos. Stayed at Hard Rock for the usual Lifestyle they provide which was non existant.
Nevertheless, service was good and rooms where large even though the design and amenities where OK.
Location is good if you plan to gamble at City of Dreams.

The Hardrock is a magnificent casino, Everything Right from the entrance, lobby, way to rooms, room itself everything is huge. There wasnt a thing I could say which was small.Even the bathroom was like a bedroom. You have everything you'd need (Casino included) within the resort. The rooms are luxurious and very well appointed. There is usually at least one good show that one can attend when one is in the resort.Free shuttle between hotel and ferry pier. actually we should't stay just ill play casino and catch some other shuttle to go another casino really nice to for in free shuttle. Will definedly be back.

Our 2nd visit to Macau. Hotel is near to the airport, generally a good location as it’s connected to Dreams of City. A completely different scene from what you find at Venetian. Suitable for those who wants more peace and civilization.
Check-in was a breeze. Stylish rooms – the kids loved the bath tubs. Nice pool view and the kids were excited to go for a dip. Only to realize that the pool belongs to Hyatt. Hard Rock pool is pretty decent with a sand play area. Would have been perfect if only they provide sand play toys & floaties for the kids.
Limited breakfast selection compared to Venetian. Meals are challenging as there are few restaurants and eateries within City of Dreams. Good thing there’s a McDonalds which the kids loved. The food court selection is very limited. There’s a convenience store at the basement and a confectionery that sells freshly baked Portugese Egg Tarts.
Luckily they have free shuttle service to Venetian and other hotels. So we did a fair bit of ‘hotel hopping’ and that’s where we got most of our meals as well as some shopping.
The show ‘Dancing Waters’ is worth every cent. But wouldn’t recommend for those with younger kids as there’s fireworks.
The main reason we stayed at Hard Rock was the mega indoor kids playground ‘Kids’ City at City of Dreams’. You got to pay to get in. They have different play stations to cater to all ages. Seems well maintained (or under-utilised) as everything looks so new.
Kids loved the place so much and asked to be back.

Room Tip: Stayed at 1269. Nice view.

Stayed at the Hard Rock Hotel, Macau during the Grand Prix weekend, the first thing that strikes you is the amazing view that you get from the rooms. The room was spacious, with all the comforts fit for a rockstar! Nice well stocked bar and some nice little touches. Step out of the room there's an HRC and a Rockshop not to mention the Casino. And its right across the Macau Venetian, not that you're short of entertainment options in the City of Dreams. All in all a great place to stay and a few indulgences!!

Room Tip: The view from the higher floors is awesome!

The location was great as it was within walking distance to the show we booked in to see. I would recommend this hotel with or without families for its location.

The kids enjoyed the memorabilia displayed everywhere and the rocker feel it had.

The only thing I would complain about, and it is very minor in the grand scheme of things, is that there was black hair all over the bathroom which was clearly not ours!

We stayed here as part of our honeymoon trip and were treated to a bottle of wine and chocolates on arrival which was a nice touch.

We got two tickets to the water show as part of our room price, this was extremely good value and was a good night out while in Macau - would highly recommend this as it is great value for money.

Room was spacious and really clean, only negative was the view of the building next door which was a bit unsightly but overall we would highly recommend this hotel.

We ate at the cafe for Dinner and the food was of a really high standard, breakfast provided a very large selection of options.
