“A truly party place in macau”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 21, 2012

All of my 5 friends stayed at this hotel through a holiday package at this hotel. Let me tell you that if you are interested in partying then you cannot miss this place. This hotel has a shopping mall in itself + this hotels has 3-4 pubs which are fabulous in itself. i dont think so you should waste your time in rooms but enjoy and explore this hotel and get into the parties/events which this hotel has it on going.

Room Tip: chose a normal room and spend most of time in the hotel pubs

Had a short stay in Sept'12. A standard Hard Rock Hotel. Good thing is it's part of the City of Dreams and opposite the Venetian and Sands Entertainment Complex with the Galaxy a stone's throw away. 5 minutes from the airport.

Got a standard room which is smallish but nice. 3 fixture bathroom which is odd if it is a 5 star hotel. Heard the pool is lovely but did not use it also did not try breakfast.

Overall a good stay.

We were very grateful to the services provided by the hotel staffs on 3rd Dec 2012. We were late for the show Dancing water and the concierge staffs were very helpful to print our tickets immediately without delay and a staff even ran with us in order to guide us to the Dancing water theatre which was quite far away from hotel reception. We were surprised about the excellent services the hotel rendered as compare to another famous hotel (The Venetian) we stayed previously in Macau last year. Also, the checking in was very efficient. The room service was also excellent. We requested for two extra towel and they came with two extra towel and two extra mineral water which we had forgotten to request. Also, the breakfast at Hard Rock Cafe was SUPER!!! Anyway, we will be back to this hotel again !!

We stayed here for 1 night to see the Dancing Water show. The Hotel Lobby is not well labeled when you enter the building. The guy who was checking us in at Reception was obviously a newb and didn't have a clue what he was doing, yet none of the staff around helped him out! Other than the slow service at check-in, the hotel itself is decent, with the expected "Hard Rock" decor and theme throughout. The room itself was satisfactory, nice window view and quite large. The toilet is separated from the bathtub and sink. Would have been nice if the toilet came with a sink! The breakfast buffet is pretty good, with a mixture of Western and Chinese options.

I was told Macau was the Las Vegas of Asia. But no...Vegas is way cooler!

Stayed there for 2 nights and loved it...big room with a good view. Very helpful staff and prompt efficient service. Loved the Rock Shop at the Lobby Level. Complimentary Rock Spa toiletries and really fast internet.

On the negative side, I had to call the Housekeeping twice to get my room cleaned up. And why is there a separate chamber for WC and for the bath?!

Overall, a pleasant experience, will certainly stay there again!

I owe Hard Rock Hotel a thank you review.

I fall down when I was exploring Macau city alone. My left knee was so badly scrapped that the wound wouldn't stop bleeding.

When I finally made my way back to the hotel in a cab, the staff saw my bleeding wound and offer to send a first aid box to my room. What I saw at my door minutes later shocked me. There was 4 staff with an armchair and a huge first aid bag i.e. those that you see the paramedics carry around, which is obviously a little bit overreacting. But I guess they were mis-informed.

So they cleaned my wound and gave me quite a few bandages for the change of dressings.

The room was very clean and well-furbished. And there is shuttle bus to the city area and the stop is super near to the famous pork bun shop!

An Impressive room:
Big with an amazing view. Plenty of space to place your things.
A wall- mounted table with two lounge chairs to sit,
An ipod docking station and free internet.
Good selection of tv channels
Impressive range of bathroom amenities

The stay would have been excellent if not for the smell in our room. However, the receptionist was very prompt in calling the housekeeping when I told her the next day. When we returned, we noticed that they had put an ionizer in our room.

Book directly from the hotel to get a good package deal.
