“Unbelievable service for a super accident-prone guest”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 5, 2012

I owe Hard Rock Hotel a thank you review.

I fall down when I was exploring Macau city alone. My left knee was so badly scrapped that the wound wouldn't stop bleeding.

When I finally made my way back to the hotel in a cab, the staff saw my bleeding wound and offer to send a first aid box to my room. What I saw at my door minutes later shocked me. There was 4 staff with an armchair and a huge first aid bag i.e. those that you see the paramedics carry around, which is obviously a little bit overreacting. But I guess they were mis-informed.

So they cleaned my wound and gave me quite a few bandages for the change of dressings.

The room was very clean and well-furbished. And there is shuttle bus to the city area and the stop is super near to the famous pork bun shop!

An Impressive room:
Big with an amazing view. Plenty of space to place your things.
A wall- mounted table with two lounge chairs to sit,
An ipod docking station and free internet.
Good selection of tv channels
Impressive range of bathroom amenities

The stay would have been excellent if not for the smell in our room. However, the receptionist was very prompt in calling the housekeeping when I told her the next day. When we returned, we noticed that they had put an ionizer in our room.

Book directly from the hotel to get a good package deal.

It was lovely to check into this hotel with spacious room after to many nights cramped up in small room at HK. Do take advantage of the many shuttle buses provided by the hotel to various spots. Remember to hop on the bus to Taipa village and try the ever delicious pork chop bun.

HARD ROCK HOTEL MACAU is located in City of Dreams and we stayed 2 nights as
a part of the House Dancing Water show package including the Dragon Treasure show. There are a free shuttle buses (about 20 minutes drive) from the Macau Ferry terminal to the Hard Rock Hotel. The room (we upgraded to a double bed room at the Elton John 21st floor) are reasonable spacious, clean and the bedding were ok for us. The daily buffet breakfast at the Hard Rock cafe is good but service is not spectacular. If you want to go for Hotel/ Casino (sightseeing) hopping, there are plenty of free shuttle bus going to various hotels in the Taipa neighborhood such as The Venetian Resort and newly opened The Galaxy Hotel. Overall it is a trendy nice hotel and good to stay when you are planning to see spectacular shows in the City of Dreams package. We will stay one day in this hotel again.

The hotel is located along Cotai Strip and is one of the 3 hotels within the City of Dream Development. The hardrock hotel is within 5 minutes traveling time from the Macau International Airport as well as the Cotai temporary ferry terminal. There are several free shuttle buses bringing you to the City of Dream and from City of Dream to various parts of the Macau Attractions (like Macau Tower, Galaxy, Sinatra, and just to name a few). As the name of the hotel suggests, the hotel has a rock theme and is tastefully designed.

My room was spacious, clean and tidy and we have no complaint. There are even art pieces on the wall. We bought a room package together with the "House of Dancing Water" show. The 90- minutes show was spectacular which made the cost of the room even more worthwhile or value for money. The package came with free breakfast but the breakfast was nothing spectacular due to limited variety.

The only disappointment was the dirty window which spoiled the view overlooking venetian hotel from my 25th storey room. Other than that, everything was simply perfect.

Hussle free check in but the check in staffs is very attentive to us.
Was surprised to received a Birthday cake and fruits basket for my stay.

I bought the package which come with 2 show ticket, the water show and the dragon show.
Very amazing show with lots of surprise!Never enjoy anyshow like the water show before. Its a MUST WATCH show if u visit Macau!

The breakfast spread is very good.We are allowed to choose for lunch in the package if we miss the breakfast time, this serve as another alternative if you would like to sleep late.
Free shuttle bus located at the basement within the same complex bring you to the Jetty,Galaxy hotel and to taipa town.

Hotel room is clean and bed is very comfortable.
I would stay here again should i visit Macau again.

The hotel room was perfect with 2 double beds. Large LCD tv. Good service. Near airport. Free shuttle almost all around Macao with City of dreams (COD).
Everything was perfect with the price we paid.. Except for the toilet. They have a separate bathroom (bathtub) and toilet (toilet bowl). But the toilet does not has a basin and the whole hotel room has only a basin in bathroom. We had trouble to wash hands after toilet, when someone was taking a shower.
