“Fantastic place if the massive crowds are not for you.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 2, 2012

Visit the hotel during Dec'2011 with recommendations here and the experience was perfect!
Right from the pick up from the airport, the experience has been 5stars.
The check in was great, bathroom amenities, bedding, room size...all first class!

The Chinese restaurant was a tad expensive but the Michelin star menu was not too bad. Service staff very attentive and takes the initiative to make sure we are well served.
Minimal smoke smell, unlike the rest of Macau.

Spa was wonderful as well.

Next time I visit Macau, it's Four Seasons for sure!

Short stay to attend a relative's wedding at the hotel. Stayed at FS in HK before which was larger and had a more modern feel to it in terms of decor.

Had a bad experience at the HK-Macau ferry pick up. We were told that there was a complimentary hotel coach/bus. We arrived at 09:30 and at the info desk were told to go to the appropriate FS coach stop. We waited a while and saw loads of coaches for the Venetian but nothing for FS. Luckily we went back to enquire again and after speaking to several people on the info desk and the coach desk (opposite each other), one of the attendants on the coach desk looked into the schedule book to tell us that the FS coaches starts at 11:00 at 15 minutes intervals. Seemed like if we didn't ask the right questions and be persistent, we would have been standing around for ages. Anyway, we took the Venetian coach and walked through the Venetian casino and the shops to reach the FS as they are interlinked. There were loads of coaches to the Venetian from the ferry terminal. You can also get coaches from FS to the other casinos. We went to the MGM Lion's Bar in the old town one night but expect to taxi back if you return very late.

Rooms at the FS were standard tastefully decorated FS decor, although for a 5* hotel, I would expect a little more attention to detail as one of the lamp shades in the room had a couple of holes and a tear, so should have been noticed and replaced. His and Hers washbasins, huge shower with a shelf to sit, two showers in there, one hand held and the other overhead - the overhead shower wasn't very good for pressure but the other was fine. Great sized bath with tv on the wall. WiFi not free.

Unexpectectedly, as we were early checking in and our rooms were not quite ready, we were presented with a small box of chocs and an apology letter, which was a nice touch.

As for the location, it was preferable to stay here than the Venetian (or City of Dreams) to get away from the hustle bustle of the Venetian casino. FS had a calmer ambience around it. The wedding we attended in the FS Lotus ballroom and the pre function room were absolutely beautiful and very tastefully decorated.

This hotel is a great choice if you don't want to rub shoulders with hundreds or thousands of people in your hotel lobby/vicinity (like City of Dreams or Venetian). But if you like the feel of a gambling city, then the Four Seasons maybe a bit too quiet for you. I like it the way it is coz I can’t stand crowds. I almost couldn’t breathe when we went to City of Dreams (where Grand Hyatt & Hard Rock was) to watch the House of Dancing Waters on New Year’s Day. Also, we found the guests here to be “comparatively” better-behaved, although we did come across several people talking at the top of their voice in the elevator & lobby area at close to 2 a.m. one morning. As to the hotel itself, it’s the usual Four Seasons elegance. Our deluxe room was nice with amenities expected of a 5-star hotel. One small issue: we were surprised to find totally unmanned side entrances on several occasions, and a few doormen at the main entrance were not spontaneous at opening the door for guests at all. Nevertheless, hotel staff were generally very friendly and helpful and we had a very pleasant stay.

Came here because Venetian was full. Was not disappointed with the room including bathroom with two basins, t.v in the bath and high powered shower options.
The gym facilities are excellent including fridge with cold towlettes and the womens or gents has a large steam sauna, sauna and indoor spa pool. There is a powder room with everything you require and a relax room with herbal teas. Once you enter there is serene music playing which takes you to another world. The buffet is also amazing so many options of food and the dessert options are great- had the best buffet dinner so far.
This hotel is attached to the Venetian shops and casino so it is really convenient.
Will be coming back here next time i visit!

Opulent hotel which is similar with a lot of hotels in Macau. What makes a difference was staff especially Sunny was nice and genuine. Spa was excellent. Breakfast buffet was extremely good value with wide range of food. Would definitely go back.

Stayed for a total of 3 nights in this wonderful property. Everything at the Four Seasons Macau is flawless. Service is impeccable. Food at Zi Yat Heen chinese restaurant is rated 2 star Michelin, and is one of the best restaurants in Macau.

Location is good since it is adjacent/connected to the Venetian where free shuttle buses to other parts of Macau is available. Plus, the mall above the Venetian is one of the biggest in Macau.

Have stayed in 2 other properties in Taipa, but the Four Seasons is still the best choice.
