“Fine Dining with personality”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 9, 2012

A very different experience from the standard, here you sit down to be served with the menu and wines already chosen for you. For our stay we had their interpretation of Breakfast at Tiffany's - lobster 3 ways. Then the most DELICIOUS scallop, then hake followed by a wonderfully original palate cleanser, tenderloin steak and finally a dark dark chocolate dessert.

Service was VERY smart, yet warm and friendly.

A special meal with an appropriately special price

We had a fantastic experience in Quetal and defenatly going back there next year. We had a chance to try a tasting 6 course menu with a selection of wines. Really special food presentations and clearly chef has a lot of exp[erience as menu was prepeard right in front of us. During the evening we tryed lobster, scalops, foe gras, fish, steak and really enjoed chocolate dessert. Will recomend to everyone who is gourmet lovers and just want to say thanx for a woanderfull experience.

“Extraordinary dinner experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 12, 2012

Quetal by Stena is by far the finest restaurant in Puerto de Mogan. It is situated in a quiet side street close to the harbour. The seating is quite romantic with long stem roses and white linnens and a chiq interior and fresh bathrooms. We had the seven course menu with wine package. For starters we had Lobster extstravaganza; Espresso of Lobster, Lobster Flesh and more lobster. Delicious! Then we moved on to scallops and pan fried foie gras. Epic!

For main course we were served succulent cuts of duck, beef tenderloin and hake, as three distinct courses. Accompanied with suitable wine, this was a winner.

To top it all of, we were served a rich chocolate combo, bursting of flavours and contemptness.

We can higly recommend this gastronomic jewel, it's more than excellent food, it's a memory for a lifetime.

“Special place for special people”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 22, 2012

This is definitely the best restaurant in Puerto de Mogan. Is for people who really loves a different way of dinning and looks for something they have not try before. But of course, you have to pay for it. Lobster, scallops, foie, truffle... you know what I mean. They serve a set menu wich surprises your palate with unspected flavours. Many small courses, all different and special.
Decoration and environment is very elegant and relaxing. Delitious atmosphere. I you can afford it don´t miss the experience. My dinner was 170 for two people with an very nice wine recommended by the owner.

“Very special experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 17, 2012

We booked the table there but there was only one more couple there at the same time.
Service was very good and food was really amazing! Presentation and taste were unforgettable. We took taste many and we loved it. I do not like meat; it was not a problem for them to serve a fish main course instead which was wonderful. You can see how they prepare food – we found it interesting. We were talking to the chef and he told us many interesting things about the restaurant and the city. The place is expensive but we felt that the whole experience was worth it. I would recommend to anyone to dine at that place, especially if you want to have a romantic celebration.
