Stayed at Angela's Aug/Sept. Room was clean and spacious. Bedding and towels were changed
every couple of days. Self catering equipment is basic but adequate. No more than you should expect if a regular traveller to Greece. Angela's always seems to attract a friendly bunch around the bar, and together with Nicky, George, Paul, Dave and Anna create a great atmosphere.
Quiz/Bingo nights are a good laugh, but professionally run. Dave making an excellent "caller".
Must mention the Olympic rep. Becky, who was regularly in attendance, always being cheerful and helpful.
We didn't use the pool, but plenty did, and it appeared well maintained. There are plenty of sunbeds to go round.
It's convenient having a supermarket on site, which is well stocked and competitively priced.
This is the only place we have stayed, where the staff turn out to receive you, and wave you off, which is nice.
Tingaki is a nice resort, big, long sandy beach, with plenty of sunbeds, but can be windy!
There are some very good restaurants and bars, but few night clubs.
Excursions can be enjoyed around the island, across to Turkey, or around other islands.
A visit to Kos Town is recommended.
Overall we had a very enjoyable holiday, and will be back again next year, for the fourth time.

We were in room 57, they shoved a double bed and two single beds together, it was like sleeping in a garage. Ventilation was very poor and unfit for human living. To make it worse, there is a huge lime tree that sits on the end of the terrace that blocks the natural air into the room. The bathroom had no ventilation, had ants crawling near the shower, stinks of urine and mould over the tiles and shower curtain. The cooking facilities are crap, the fridge had mould over it and wasn't cleaned properly. Cleaning was very very basic, I think they need to learn how to use proper cleaning stuff. The people at the bar are very 'clicky'. If you don't eat and drink here, the owners don't like it and treat you like an outsider. To make it worse a stray dog wandered into the pool area and started drinking the pool water ........ROoms need serious upgrading to resemble anything you could call decent. Would not recommend at this time, sorry but the truth often hurts!!

Arrived on the 22nd August at 3 in the morning family of 4 2 adults 2 kids very disappointed the room was like a prison, it had doors on either side of the room witch had 2 single beds in each, only one room had the tv and air con in witch you couldnt feel in the other room as it was boiling hot. Very basic needs updating, didn't have a toaster or microwave even though we went self catering. Reception was closed when we arrived, no room to walk round side of the pool as the sun loungers were squeezed round the side, had bingo and quiz 3 nights a week which got abit boring. We used the pool next door as you turn left outside the angela 2 second walk. which was fab, food is lovely, staff are very friendly and couldn't do enough,

We visited this hotel (Middle August 2013) following our search of reviews via Trip Adviser and weren’t disappointed.

The hotel is perfectly placed away from the night life further down the strip (road)
The pool is perfect for adults and children
The Bar and eating area are nice and clean.
Hotel has its own supermarket.
Hotel rents Aircon out at x amount a week and you do need it in the very hot weather.
Hotel rooms are a good size depending on your family size. S2, S3 or S4 (S# denotes persons)
Weather was 34c or higher every day and perfect blue skies

Big Supermarket is left out of the hotel entrance and about 250 yards up the road on the right. Great for water/and food.

Another supermarket is right out of the hotel entrance and about 150 yards on the left (next to the restaurant) on the corner. This is great (cheaper than the other Big Supermarket) for beer etc (great Olive shop next to it)

Places to eat…..
*Sagittarius Restaurant
Left out of the hotel entrance and about 200 yards up the road on the right
This is 100% perfect for families and couples.
It has a Children’s menu at a very cheap price and the food is excellent i.e. Chicken and Chips/peas + Drink + Ice Cream for 3.99 euros.
Adult meals are amazing and cheap and you have to go to experience the family feel to this perfect night out/food.

*7dayz Restaurant
Turn right out of the hotel entrance and 7dayz restaurant is about 100 yards on your left.
The food is very, very tasty and and staff and very nice and helpful.

*Hotel Angela
Don’t leave the hotel grounds.
Food is great and the service is excellent.

Hotel staff
Hanna was very nice and always helpful.

Dave and Paul are 100% perfect hosts. They make you feel at home the moment you arrive and without them our holiday wouldn’t have been anything it was.
For that we thank you both (Dave & Paul).

One last thing…. Cleaner needs to work a little harder in the.apartments.

Room Tip: You must get/rent Aircon as its like the UK weather, in that its sticky and without it you will not...
