“Small & secluded...one of the best beaches Puerto Rico has”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 9, 2013

Great way to end a walk around El Faro in Cabo Rojo. Playa Sucia is clean with crystal clear water and white sand. The beach is not too large so I would suggest getting there early during the summer months. Having visited in February on a weekday was not a problem but family members tell me it gets very crowded in the summer.

“A hidden gem of a beach”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 4, 2013

Remote and beautiful, it is worth the trip down the bumpiest dirt road ever. Greta swimming beach. Unbelievably beautiful with a lighthouse at the top of a hill with more great views. bring the camera

“Well-worth the venture”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 2, 2013

Wow -- this was really wonderful. Bumpy dirt road (we were in a small car but made it fine). Upon arriving at the first parking lot, take a left! If you stop at the first lot you can walk up the path to the lighthouse which has a great view. But if you are there for the swimming, turn left and go the additional 100 yards or so to the next lot. From there it's a very short walk to the beach. Clean blue water and relatively gentle waves. Very sandy beach.

“Absolutely stunning to the point of almost being unreal!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 30, 2013

Point blank...BEAUTIFUL beach. I have never seen any one place hold so much beauty. I would highly recommend this beach to anyone who travel to PR. Well worth the drive no matter where you are staying PR. Yes you do have to drive down a long road with lots of pot holes and then hike to the beach, but as I said, it's well worth it!

“Clean, but you need a good car to get there”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 23, 2013

The beach is great. Clean, clear waters, and no too rough waves. However, the road to get there is though. You need a Jeep or big truck to pass the big craters.
