I went for an unplanned dinner with my husband to this very heard-of restaurant in Leimen (some 12km south of Heidelberg) and realised why it was so 'heard-of' :)
They offer multiple cuisines here, but we ordered the basic German Kase Spatzle and Hanchenbrustfilltet. Many Germans would argue, you cant really go wrong with that, but as a non-German, I know, you can definitely go wrong. Both dishes were delicious and the 5 stars go to the local Muller Thurgau Leimener Weisswine, such a soft and smooth flavor, I would definitely recommend it to everyone. And it wasn't expensive although it wasn't cheap either, but by Leimen standards, it was more towards expensive.
