Great staff, especially little Andy. He is very friendly and accommodating and is constantly trying to improve his English. Rea the girl is also very friendly. The owner / manager, also called Andy, is a little bit too relaxed...but this is Gilli T I suppose.
The rooms are quite nice, if a bit sparse, they need more useful furniture but the bed however is huge.
The bathroom is the main let down. It looks like a prison block. Bit of a shame because if a little more was spent this place would be very good value and a little gem (cold showers)
The location is also a downfall though. It is truly in the middle of nowhere, which whilst adds a little character (there is a pool and a shop 1 min away AND it avoids the racket from the mosque) it makes it very difficult to find. It is around a 25 min walk to the busy part of town and will cost around 75,000 rp to get there on horse and cart taxi, providing they know where it is. Which is unlikely!!
Good for those on a budget (we booked via the web) but you probably can get better deals elsewhere if you arrive and haggle. The location maybe your cup of tea, but be warned its a fair walk and quite dark.
