We were staying close to karma kayak and went there almost every day. It has the best position on the island as it's on the northern tip and you can watch the sun go down until it disappears which you can't do from the more populated part of the island. It's very serene too, we were here during peak season but always managed to get a great position.
It was my boyfriends birthday when we visited, I mentioned it to the staff and when we arrived the next day they had set up one of the cabanas with balloons for him and happy birthday written on them. Such a nice touch.
We spent his birthday there, having drinks, fresh juices, a great lunch of satays, tapas and one of the specials, and soft drinks, we arrived at 11am and left at 9pm and our bill came to around £20!!! A bargain.
Not all the staff speak English but the ones that do are so friendly and eager to chat, and I speak none of the local language so I think that even when the kitchen staff (the ones that don't speak english), come to help the waiters just a little more patience is required. We chatted with the owners who are also really friendly and welcoming.
You can't beat the atmosphere here and that's the clincher, please go along and give it a try, I dare you to be unhappy with anything in such a beautiful setting.
