“Very relaxing”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 11, 2013

Once we got there we loved KoKoMo. The fast speedboat from Bali was a real adventure for us but we finally arrived safe and sound. We took a horse cart to the resort with all our luggage (50,000 IDR). It would be a long walk with a heavy suitcase or backpack, but very easy and enjoyable without luggage.

We were in a two bedroom villa - Cedpaka and it was excellent. It has everything you need for a great beach holiday. Well stocked mini bar with beer, tonic, soda water and other soft drinks plus some chocolate, chips and plenty of mozzie spray. Staff come round every night at about 5.00pm with mozzie coils. We found the mini bar was only slightly more expensive than buying drinks at the local shops, so why bother. There are plates, cutlery and glasses in the villa. TVs in both bedroms plus the living area.

While there is free WiFi, the reception is very slow and unreliable (not the fault of KoKoMo) which means you really do switch off from the outside world. The food at KoKoMo is definitely the best on the island. We tried a number of different places but found KoKoMo to be superior in service and food quality. The only place that came close in food quality was Scallywags but it has a very limited menu (BBQ - the BBQ lobster is fantastic) and the service was not very good.

At KoKoMo the fresh bread at breakfast is magnificent as was the tapas menu at night. We also had room service and was able to adapt the menu to our tastes which was no issue for the resort. The burgers and steak sandwiches were great after a morning of snorkelling. If you love the ocean then definitely go snorkelling, the resort can arrange it for you or there are also plenty of other operators. Expect to pay about $A100 for four hours of snorkelling in your private glass bottom boat with driver and snorkel guide. You can get it cheaper but you will be sharing with others. We saw about 6 big turtles and heaps of fish. You can feed the fish so take some bread along with you. The coral is pretty much bleached out but there were some good spots.

The resort was very helpful in booking / ordering the horse cabs for us - we took a tour around the island (45 mins) which cost us 350,000IDR per cart and also went up to sunset point (50,000IDR). Both of these trips were great, fun and recommended.

This is a great place to just chill out and relax.

My wife and I recently got married at Ko-Ko-Mo on 15th June 2013. I must say the venue far exceeded our high expectations.

We we got engaged last year (2012) we knew right away where we intended on tying the knot. We contact Ko-Ko-Mo almost straight away and stated or intent to use their facilities for our wedding in 2013. We booked out the whole hotel for our guests and every single one of us was completely blown away by the standard of the rooms.

The staff at Ko-Ko-Mo along with our wedding co-ordinator Di Somerton (who was absolutely superb) really pulled all the stops to make our dream day come true. The setting was unbelievable and the food not matched anywhere else on the island. In fact, I have to say the starters and the mains were by far the best courses I have had at any wedding.

We would like to say a huge thank you to Matthew, June and the rest of the guys at Ko-Ko-Mo for being a massive part of the best day of our lives.

We will be back next year for our anniversary.

Ryan & Michelle.

4 days staying in the 3 bed villa was simply divine. The villa was spotlessly clean, the staff responded quickly to all requests - from more sunloungers, bicycle hire, masseurs to getting tonic and soda water refills. The bedrooms were all large with ensuite bathrooms.
The restaurant on the beach front was a truly beautiful setting for breakfast every morning and the smoked salmon delicious.
There is plenty to do on Gili T - snorkelling, diving or walking around the island. There is still no public transport on the island, which helps keep the island feel, despite it getting busier and more developed.

We had 4 nights in a 2 bedroom villa with our kids. The villa was great and we loved the pool. The breakfast was beautiful (we had eggs Ko-Ko-Mo style nearly everyday).
It's an easy walk to lots of bars and restaurants.
The staff were great and looked after us very well. We booked our snorkelling trip through reception and it was great.
We highly recommend Ko-Ko-Mo especially for families.

This is a real Tropical Island holiday venue! We stayed in a 2 bedroom villa with our own pool which the kids loved. Fantastic service, great food and helpful staff made our stay unforgettable. The fact that there are no vehicles on the island makes it a very peaceful place and so unlike any place I have been before. The boat ride from Bali was a little hairy going over but so worth it when you get there, will certainly return in the future and highly recommend the Ko-Ko-Mo resort.

We stayed in a 2-bedroom suite shared between 3 adults and 2 children. There was ample room for all of us. The private pool was a joy for the children. The rooms were comfortable and completely private. This is a "walking" island as there are no motor vehicles there. You can ride bicycles or take a tour of the Island in a carriage drawn by a strong little horse. The restaurant was satisfactory and the staff was great but you can also experience a variety of restaurants within minutes of the hotel. This is a lovely escape from the hustle and bustle of city life.

This was the best honey moon location possible. The staff was so fabulous and thoughtful. They went above and beyond to help us with everything for our trip. The rooms were beautiful. And the food there was fabulous.
