“Lovely food for a special occasion”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 28, 2013

We picked this restaurant from the Bali Lonely Planet as it was my friend's birthday whilst we were on Gili T and this was the perfect place to celebrate with a special meal. Service was great, but not remotely pushy and the food was lovely. Certainly not the cheapest place for food on the island but we knew that when we went and were not disappointed! Try and get a table on the beach side if you can!

We enjoyed fish and also meat imported from Australia. Both were a 10 out of 10. Staff was nice and polite.

“Chocolate soufflé heaven!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 19, 2013

After walking the long strip of dining options we finally found it! Dining at its best on Gili T! If your planning on eating at Ko Ko Mo make sure you reserve a table to avoid disappointment as this restaurant is very popular, dress up and make the most of the up market dining experience. The Australian beef tenderloin was melt in your mouth, pork belly and duck ravioli were to die for and just when we thought it couldn't get any better our chocolate soufflé topped it off! Total dining pleasure with a great selection of wine to compliment your culinary choices!

“Head over heels for Fallen Chocolate”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 15, 2013

What the heck am I talking about? Probably one of the best desserts we’ve ever tasted in all our dining experiencess – ever. But let’s get to the rest of the meal first! It was our first night on Gili T and being the Hari Raya / Eid ul Fitr holiday, we lucked out on many places we tried to get a meal at. It was now about 9.30pm, and so many places had run out of food (despite seating us!) or were shutting down early. Now desperate, we ventured closer to the main strip to find other options, when we came across Ko Ko Mo, a very romantic beachside restaurant with a menu which sounded very appetising. Despite the late hour, the manager welcomed us warmly and let us know early on that a few dishes were sold out for the night.

Skipped starters and went straight to mains: fish and chips (barramundi fish) for my husband and steamed white snapper for me. Both dishes were perfectly cooked, the fish was simply melt-in-the-mouth and very well seasoned. But the highlight of the evening was definitely the dessert: Fallen Chocolate, a beautiful warm fondant cake oozing chocolate, served with vanilla ice cream and a pistachio cream. It was so good, we went back on our last night having dined elsewhere, just to have the same dessert. Service was very friendly and efficient.

One big downside to the restaurant, the music is just far too loud and generally awful anyway! It ruins the ambience and this really needs to change, but don’t let that put you off from trying out this fantastic place.
