This is pitched as the fine dining restaurant of Gili T, but that obviously comes with the disclaimer that it is as close to fine dining as you can probably get on the island, without being 100% the real deal.
That said, I came here two nights in a row and was happy overall on both occasions. The first night they informed us that half of the menu was not available, but we learned on the second night that that was because the boat from Bali with the ingredients had sank! No one was hurt. The next night, the boat obviously made it and the full menu was available again. The food is good, but some dishes are much better than others. The beef tenderloin was my personal favourite, and was a hit with those I recommended it to on the second visit. I asked for it medium rare, and it was cooked perfectly. The Moroccan lamb was also very good.
The waiters are attentive and are clearly well trained. They also gave us a beautifully presented desert for a birthday celebration when one of our friends told them it was my birthday. It wasn't really my birthday, so I didn't begrudge the 60,000IDR they added to the bill, and it really was a wonderfully decorated plate! :)
Possibly the most expensive restaurant on the island, but worth a visit.
