It was just the three of us, my mum a single parent, my older brother and me. We were quite inexperienced travellers at the time so did not have a clue what to expect. We went in the spring bank week so it was reasonably busy.Really nice weather we all got tanned

*Nice foood(depends how fussy you are i just ate the chips ect because i am really fussy). Everyone loved it

BAD POINTS
*no kettle(we had to buy one there)

Es Cana is a lovely place to stay it is quiet but not to quiet. I got my hair braided down there pretty cheaply.There is also the famous hippy market which is a good experience(we personally didn't like it).There is a simpsons bar up the road in Es Cana that was our local we loved it(i was 12 at the time).

There is also a nice bar right outside the hotel. I really can't remember what it was called but it had the soaps on everynight if you are like me and love the soaps!

DON'T BE PUT OFF BY BAD REVIEWS. it obviously depends what sort of people we are we are certainly not posh snobs and certainly not chavs etc.

the place around was nice for a walk at night and for something to do [there was plenty to do] the food if you were all inclusive
wasnt bad it was fine ! but if you ate in every day it can get a little boring! the hotel rooms were plesant and clean enough! the night time life[entertainment] was just briliant as it had childrens enteranment early and adults up to around 12:00 .
there was no noise juring the night apart from some one over the road wich was singing realy funny !
booking was easy apart from we booked a sea view and when we arive we got hardly any sea view just apartments and hotels!
the town isnt very busy and this deseves 9/10 its perfect for famelys and cupples.

Stayed for 1 week ( 1/09/07 - 8/09/07 ) in the apartments, which are in a separate building with its own pool - although you can still use the full facilities of the main hotel. Booked through Thomas Cook, we went just after the school holidays so it was fairly quiet, not many kids, which is what we wanted. The rooms are fairly basic, but had everything you needed, fridge, microwave, sink, toaster, TV, free air conditioning and balcony with great views. Had no trouble getting a sunbed anytime during the day!. The hotel is right on the beach at one end of the bay, and the town centre is a 10 minute stroll away, on the other end of the beach. Es Cana is quite small, but there's enough bars & restaurants to choose from. You can get a bus to Saint Eulalia for about 1 euro, which is a much bigger town, lots of designer shops etc., a good day out. Hotel entertainment was ok for a laugh, was clean, rooms serviced everyday. Only problem was at the end of the holiday when we tried to book a late checkout, they wouldn't let anyone as the hotel was full! But would definately recommend this hotel's apartments, just remember you get what you pay for - it's not The Ritz, it's a 2/3 star hotel!

The most important thing to me when reading a review is to ensure there is nothing drastically wrong with the place. There'll always be pro's and con's and as a family of four you just want to make sure it will be fine. After all a holiday is what you make it and not really down to the size of your room! We stayed for a week, having been moved from another hotel and whilst the decor was a little dated in places I couldn't fault the food and staff and the rooms were clean with newly refurbished bathrooms and showers. We were half board and breakfast had everything you could possibly want and more. Evening meals were also very good. The water in the hotel is a little salty so we were glad we weren't full board as at least we could go out for drinks. The Hotel bars always had a queue though and the beer wasn't up to much so again a trip out was better for us. Other than that for a quick week away you will not be disappointed. Lovely beach with bars/restaurants dotted along and the resort was just large enough not to be too busy. Cranfield (Worthing)
