“fab holiday”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 1, 2014

Two week stay at the Ereso and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Last stayed here 7 years ago and must say that it is still a really good hotel. The location is very good a five minute walk to one beach and a ten minute walk to another beach. Lots of bars close to the hotel if you feel like a change. We liked popeye's and apache. Lovely meal in monumar next to Charlie's by the beach. Food and drink in the hotel were really good, lots of choice at all meal times in both food and drink. Red, white and rose wine, lager and soft drinks with meals and spirits etc in the pool bar. AI drinks at the pool bar also included malibu, peach schnapps, and baileys, not at all diluted either. Bit of a rush with the sunbeds, but always managed to get some, even though some annoying people insist on grabbing the best beds and letting their towels sunbathe until 4pm !!!! Entertainment was okay, best act was the Double Dee's, outstanding act very funny and they can sing as well. Could do with better music, more up to date, by the pool, vera lynne one day which was rubbish. Aqua aerobics, shooting, water polo and other activities daily, also free scuba diving trial twice a week. Would definitely return to this hotel. Staff are ALL excellent. Thank you for a fab holiday.

Room Tip: We had room numbers 303 and 304 over looking the tennis courts and a small courtyard and it was quie...

My partner and I returned a couple of days ago from our 10 night stay at the Ereso hotel in Es Canar. While it's a simple hotel, fairly basic furnishings in the rooms and communal areas, it's all beautifully clean and tidy (inside and out, including pool areas etc), and we very quickly settled comfortably into our new environment for the next week and a half. The reception team seemed friendly and happy to help too.

The all inclusive was a really great option for us, as even drinks alone on holidays like this can add up quickly! You'd have to be really fussy to not find anything to eat, and the quality of it was generally pretty high - remembering how hard it must be to keep such a wide range of people happy! There were a fair few options for lunch and dinner each day. From grilled seasoned chicken (or lamb, beef, pork) cooked on the grill in front of you, as well as another couple of meat/poultry dishes and usually a fish option too. Then there were the rice, potato, pasta and vegetable bake (chips if you really desire) options, themed nights such as Chinese, Mexican and Spanish, the salad bar, the table of fruits (loved the mini bananas) and the little desserts/cakes/pastries. Ok, so if you were staying a month, perhaps it might become repetitive at times, but for up to 2 weeks, we really couldn't complain. It only really repeated a bit at the one week point (but crepes, freshly made in front of you, with milk chocolate sauce after lunch, for example, meant I wasn't complaining!!) I don't think we actually had a chance to feel hungry at any point over this holiday!!!

The cleaning team came around each morning to make the beds, refresh your towels and sweep up, and always did a great job. The beds, for us anyway, we found very hard, so that took a bit of getting used to. But there were two thick blankets in the cupboard, which when I put down on the bed, actually helped enough, and I did sleep pretty well after that. There is quiet air con in the room, and an effective ceiling fan, although our room never felt sweltering.

Then there's the animation team, found around the pool and surrounding outdoors areas for the daily entertainment program. What a truly great bunch of people! Team leader Frank, along with Daphne, Marija and James. We just loved their energy and their genuine desire to keep people happy and entertained, working tirelessly from morning till night, for kids and adults alike. But at no point did they make you feel pressured if you felt like just kicking back. Although I actually really enjoyed joining in with a couple of things from the range of AI entertainment on offer! Water aerobics in the mornings and yoga/stretching in the late afternoons was my thing, but they also offered on alternating days, rifle shooting, water polo, football, water volleyball and others. Can't fault them in any way whatsoever. The children at the hotel seemed to enjoy their nightly mini disco at 8.30. Making way for the main entertainment from 9.30 each night, from dancers, battle of the sexes funny quiz nights, magic shows, and of course the famous Bomba dance.

So a big thank you again to everyone at the Hotel Ereso for making our first trip to Ibiza fun, relaxed and memorable. Each team, from the cleaners to the dining room staff worked so very hard. And a huge thank you to Frank, Daphne, Marija and James for being absolutely fabulous and for giving us a lot of laughs - From Meryl and Dave.

If you want a fun but relaxing daytime vibe in the sunshine around a warm clean pool, a 5 minute stroll from the beach, shops, restaurants and bars (some of which were open till 4am if you want a late night hang out, without being a disturbance if you don't), then the pretty and chilled resort of Es Canar, and the Hotel Ereso will be the place for you.

Room Tip: We like the hustle and bustle in the daytime and when we choose to be around it, but a quiet room at...

Just back from a weeks holiday, the hotel is spotlessly clean, and nothing is too much trouble for the staff. The entertainment team never stop all day, but there is no pressure to join in ! thank goodness. The bar staff are lovely too. The food is plentiful and loads of choice, some good choices, some better than others but no complaints at all.
The only downside was the walls are very thin and the person in Room 634 snored all night, take ear plugs just in case. It is a hotel that most guests seem to have visited for years with one lady informing me she had visited for the last 20 years !

Room Tip: ask for a room away from the road

just returned from this hotel, which I booked after reading trip advisor.

Best Bits:
Clean room everyday, hotel was just about spotless .
Dinning room food was great, catering for all tastes, plenty of it too.
There was a varied day time entertainment programme for all ages.
All-inclusive was from 11:00 to Midnight, plenty of liquid options available.
Staff were very helpful and friendly.

Not so good bits:
Evening professional entertainment was average.
Food outside of the dinning room hours was poor.

Overall:
I would go back again and look forward to it. I felt it would not take much for this hotel to become 4 star.
Had a great holiday.

Just back from a weeks holiday with family Stayed here 10 years ago and its still the same then as it is now .Staff friendly ,entertainment staff great ,very clean every where and price great . Food very basic ,and sprouts at every meal !!!!.Would of liked to have had more spanish dishes and less of the cooked dinners . Liked the fact you can get your own soft drinks at bar and in dinner room . But no tea making in rooms and no hair dryer in room and your not allowed to take any food or drink out of the dinning room ,which seemed a little petty when they don't provide tea/coffee in room . Would i return ,may be if they moved with the times, but tbf they catered for the age range which was 50/60 years of age . If you have booked to go ,u won't be disappointed ,my advise is go and have a look at the cala nova ,its a quieter location and food so better ,rooms bigger .

Room Tip: higher rooms are better ,road rooms are very loud

Visited on 14th June for a week. Would rate as good 3 1/2 stars.

First off, the good bits. The hotel is in a good position. The staff are friendly and the hotel is kept clean and tidy. Most meals were good, although an occasional dish was a bit on the cool side. If you want a decent AI hotel then you wont go too far wrong with one.

Now for the bad bits. Try and avoid the first floor rooms as they are noisy. The only way to cover the late night drinkers was to have the fan on all night. The walls are very thin. Was woken at four one morning by the snoring coming from a room above. Fighting hippos would have been quieter. The bathrooms are a bit small, was fed up with the shower curtain sticking to me by the end of the week. When the hotel is full, the restaurant feels cramped and gets very hot. The entertainment was rather poor, some nights felt as if it was the same act from the previous night.

What really lets the hotel down is some of the guests who, unfortunately are mainly British. The eight o'clock charge to claim the same piece of ground to put the sunbeds on, which were towel covered all of the day is farcical.

Room Tip: Keep away from the first floor if you can.

Just returned from a lovely relaxing week at the Ereso. A bit of a last minute all inclusive budget deal and very pleasantly surprised. We thought this hotel is as good as quite a few of the 4 star hotels we have been in and was impeccably clean. Food was a bit similar each day but you were never short of finding something tasty to eat with fresh salads and fruit. All the staff were so happy in this place and so very genuinely helpful, it made for a lovely environment to be on holiday in. Cala Nova beach, about a 10 minute walk away was lovely. Tend not to visit the same area more than once, however, if we wanted to visit this area again we would definately stay here again.

Room Tip: We paid extra for a pool view, this meant we had a sunny balcony for most of the day, worth it if yo...
