“Fantastic late break”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 12, 2013

We booked a couple of days before we traveled and got a fantastic deal through First Choice who were great from start to finish
The hotel is positioned on a small hill overlooking the resort of Es Cana and about 150m to the beach and small harbour were is season you can get ferries to other parts of the island.

When we arrived at the hotel is seemed the whole coach was staying there as well but check in was lightning fast and carried out with a smile by the superb reception team. We were given a free upgrade to poolside rooms on the 6th floor, these rooms are ok if you do not have young children and are not bothered by the noise that goes with the entertainment around the pool each evening. If you prefer a quieter room ask for one on the road side of the hotel.

The entertainment here is really good with the animation team of 4 looking after everyone but not being to pushy, if you wanted to join in great, if not then that was fine too. Daytime activities consisted of aerobics, various games and water polo with a kids club run in a dedicated club house. In the evenings it was a kids disco followed by a booked act that finished around 11.30. They did play bingo which I normally hate but it was free and very light hearted so most people joined in. The bar did stay open until 12 and served a wide range of good quality drinks, some people on here said the bar staff were unfriendly but I never found that, no matter how busy they were they always had time for a laugh and would recommend drinks if you hadn't tried them before. In fact all the staff are a credit to the hotel, even so late in the season they all had a welcoming smile and took the time to talk to you.

The pool area is divided into 2 with a upper and lower pool, there where loads of loungers (I know we went late but the hotel was full when we got there for the first couple of days) and areaswere you could find both direct sun and shade.

Meals were of a very good quality with the best desserts I have ever had in a Spanish hotel, I can believe it could get busy at peak times of the year as everyone queues one way to go around the hot buffet plates. The paella is particularly good here, it uses good quality short grain rice and excellent seafood. There was also a cavery or show cooking section in the centre for both lunch and dinner, drinks are self service and the red wine the better of the three.

It would be unfair to rate the resort as it had started to close for the season, indeed most of the resort staff where on our flight home on the Friday but it is very small and intimate and would suit couples and families with small children.

Overall I think we got a great hotel at a very good price and I would have no hesitation in returning for another week next year,

Room Tip: Pool view rooms get the noise from the entertainment until midnight and get the sun from around midd...

We stayed at "Land Ereso" in October, & the whole stay was brilliant. It was our first time in Ibiza, & we couldn't have chosen better - our room was on the top floor with a sea-view, just as requested, & it was very comfortable & spotless, just like the rest of the hotel. All the staff were very friendly & helpful, & we could not praise the entertainment team highly enough for all their hard work & enthusiasm. We joined in a lot of the activities, although there was no pressure to do so, & we're still doing the "Bomba" even though we've been home two weeks! Even the evening children's entertainment was good & all the children were so well behaved & enjoying themselves, some were crying when it was time to go home.To make it perfect the weather was hot & sunny almost the whole time, much better than we thought it would be & we met some great people & laughed so much that all our memories of this holiday are all happy ones.

We will definitely return - the only extra thing we thought would be would be beneficial is free wi-fi in the public areas (as most other hotels provide)

See you next year Land-Ereso!!

What can I say that hasn't already been said. Hotel spotless, food a plenty with good choice.
We had a fab time, everyone was so friendly with lots to do all day. I don't know when the entertainment team found time to eat and sleep as they were always around with their happy smiling faces. Bar staff very helpful and the receptionist was just lovely.
We were there half term week just before they were closing up for the winter but it wasn't apparent as everything was still buzzing at the hotel. We'll be back again next year to the 'land of Ereso' hopefully.
And don't forget the La Bomba, the song takes over your brain and certainly makes you smile just look it up on You Tube.

We booked up a week before departure through Thomson via Latedeals.co.uk, We paid a fantastic price of £270 for a week all inclusive at Hotel Eroso and was a bit apprehensive due to how cheap we got the holiday. I traveled from Newcastle on the 25th October with my 6 year old son & everything was fantastic. Food was fresh with plenty of choice, room and hotel grounds were kept spotlessly clean. The entrertainment staff, Jacob, Yves, Sam and Sian were fantastic & really made everyone feel welcome but with no pressure to join in the activities. We met some great people while we were there & my son made plenty of friends. The people we met said they would definatley return here, we would to. Staff were really friendly and nothing was to much trouble.

We would definatley return here, a great atmosphere with fellow guests and staff a like. If your thinking of booking up.....do it. You wont be dissapointed. Ive had that La Bomba song in my head ever since I returned !

Room Tip: Sea views are pool facing, quieter rooms face the tennis court. We had a tennis court view & it...

This Hotel is very focused on Guest entertainment and the Staff in this area are the best and most hard working we have seen in any Hotel. Well done Chicken Jacob and his crew..
We stayed at this hotel last week and after reading reviews were very happy that 90% were spot on in highlighting areas which Guests were happy with and areas that needed attention. While at Dinner the air conditioning unit above my head was dripping, I brought this problem to the Restaurant Manager as this could pose a problem. All air conditioning units were checked and the one in the dining room serviced the same day. Well done Ereso Management.
The food, accommodation, location and Staff are second to none, so if you are holidaying in Es Cañar you will not do any better than staying here. Facilities are all on ground level so will suit Older and disabled Guests as well as people like me who don't like walking up and down stairs to bars and Restaurants.

Room Tip: Choose a room on a high floor for better views of the Sea or Mountains.

Highly recommended. Great hotel, friendly staff and good food. We stayed in August and had a great time. Pool area clean with plenty of entertainment all day and plenty of sunbeds available. Hotel is also close to the beach and shops.
