Went here for am evening meal which was amazing. Atmosphere was great and it was such a pretty, quaint bar/restaurant. Live acoustic music which was fab. Had the best night of our trip in this place, amazing well worth a visit

“Quirky”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed July 13, 2014

Quirky place with mismatched furniture outdoors and quite dark inside underneath trailing plantation. Small menu not really catering for vegetarians that we needed explaining what each item was. Peters salad more like a fruit cocktail with a horrible flavoured 'dressing' . salad was drowned in this more like a sauce with a hint of Indian to it that ruined it for me and at €12 not worth the price. Drinks were all expensive. Would only recommended this place if you want beef!

“A little Spanish gem”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 9, 2014

We visited La Finca having searched restaurants in the Es Canar area and used the map to find it. It's off the beaten track so you wouldn't stumble across this without really knowing where it is, but well worth the walk! A very romantic quirky setting with candles and wooden furniture creating a rustic indoors / outdoors feel. Food was amazing and not bad value for money. Four adults shared the Ali Aioli and the meat/fruit/cheese platter to start followed by the steak entrecôte. The steak was absolutely delicious, melted in your mouth and the crispy potatoes it came with perfect. We were stuffed! Alcohol was a bit on the pricey side in comparison to some other restaurants we visited but overall the party price of 70 Euro per couple was not bad. The singer/guitarist on was a lovely addition to the setting, and if we hadn't have been so stuffed we probably would have stayed a bit longer than we did with a few drinks. Unfortunately our eyes we're too big for our bellies! There is more relaxing seating outside if you'd like to move away from your table and hang around for a bit longer. Definitely worth a visit if you're in this area.

“Not for me”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 6, 2014

It certainly is quirky and eccentric. Some strange smells too. The food was good, the steak for two was generous and flavoursome, my chicken and rice dish was small however and definitely not worth the price.
Bread, aioli and olives (not complementary, a paid for shared starter) arrived closely followed by my dinner so no time to eat them. Gin and Tonic 8€ and bottle of standard local rose wine was 20€ so quite expensive really.
In summary the food tasted nice but the overall experience wasn't enjoyable and at around 100 € for 3 people wasn't value therefore I wouldn't recommend it. There are nicer places to eat here.

“Best Meal all week”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 22, 2014

After reading reviews on trip advisor me and my partner decided to check it out. The building itself is very romantic with a inside/outside feeling. Staff were very helpful in explaining the Spanish menu. We had Ali oli with the most delicious bread and a plate filled with cheese, fruit, ham and nuts was amazing. For our main we had steak in a herby sauce again I can't fault the food it was amazing. Made even better with a Spanish man playing his guitar in the corner. Worth the trip, highly recommended don't leave es cana without going here!
