“Good value...don't expect much though!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 28, 2012

For the price I think this place is pretty decent. Basic rooms (go for one with a balcony), comfy enough beds, clean and tidy. Location is ok right near the beach and a (long!) walk to PDB centre either along the road or along the beach past Bora Bora. Oh and the pool/sun terrace is a touch!

Would recommend. When you're in Ibiza saving money for the clubs, booze and whatever else is the name of the game and this place definitely helps.

Check out the bar on the corner under the hotel...rogue but good fun!

Door locks were unsafe, also the lift was an "adventure". The room was VERY hot and noisy! Cleaner lady broke our laptop and didn't admit anything. So... Location though was quite good.

My friend and I stayed here for 5 nights in August. We're 2 young girls (22 and 24) and we came to Ibiza for a clubbing holiday but didnt want to stay in chavvy San Antonio. The location is great - the number 10 bus takes you straight from the airport in about 15 minutes. Everywhere else was a cheap taxi ride and it was easy to find people to share with when going to clubs etc. It's pretty much right on the beach, which is lovely, and the rooftop pool is amazing - always has a breeze for when you want to cool off, and great views. There is a restaurant/bar on the roof doing very cheap pizzas and burgers/chips etc, about 5/6euros for a meal. Our room was clean and basic, fine for what we needed. The bathroom was very clean and the shower was quite powerful, i've stayed in much worse places! Unfortunately there was no aircon, you could rent fans at 4euros a day but we didnt bother. Think we had one of the hottest rooms there - our window opened out into a sort of alcove of other buildings so there was no breeze! But most of the time we were too pissed to notice and just crashed straight out, the heat made sure we got up in time to go to the pool and get a slight tan - if we'd had aircon we probably wouldve slept all day! It was very quiet for a hotel in Ibiza. The best thing about this hotel was the staff, particularly Manuel on reception. He was so so friendly and helpful, he made us laugh all the time. It's not luxury but for the price we paid we wouldnt expect it to be. Would definitely return again.

For a two star hotel I was very impressed when I arrived here. The rooms are basic but clean and the room had aircon. In a fabulous location the staff were mostly very polite and couldn't do more for us, the rooftop pool was gorgeous too and the food very good. For someone on a budget I couldn't recommend it more.

My wife and i were looking for a cheap holiday in Ibiza without the crazy, mad, drunkards tearing through the hotel at all hours. We found the prefect place!

The Hotel was very cheap but very close to the airport (3 stops on the bus) the other reviewers are right in that there is no air con, but we were on the fifth floor which allowed us to keep the windows open all the time - and what a view! Some people call it a partial sea view, i say "turn your head a bit to your left!" i honestly think that if you want an uninterupted sea view, book another, more expensive hotel, but there was nothing wrong with our view.

We didnt choose the all inclusive package because we knew we would be coming back and leaving at odd, non-meal time hours. however, one morning we we up early enough to try the breakfast. Ibiza in general is a very expensive island. Neither my wife or i are big eaters but were spending a mionimum of 60 Euros a day on food. The breakfast buffet was 4.50 euros each and all you could eat! with unlimited juice and coffee, we only wish they still served breakfast at 1pm when we were generally looking for breakfast! Ok, its wasnt gourmet, but very good for an all you can eat... if you dont like the sausages, take an extra piece of bacon!

We we very nervous about staying anywhere as all reviews of cheap hotels mentioned the rooms had been broken into. We took this on board and paid for the room safe where we kept everything. The room was cleaned everyday and at a decent hour so we could sleep a little later. once, we left the room at 4pm and on our return they had still cleaned it for us. a few times, we had left money or the iPad out and on our return, it had been left neatly on the bedside table. We made sure we found our cleaner and left her a big tip when we left. We did not hear of anyone's room getting robbed or things going missing during our stay.

The hotel is ideally situated for the beach, 300 meters away from a quiet, family beach. Again, be careful as there are always bags being snatched, from tourists and locals. The hotel is a short walk to the Old town with plenty of bars and sights to see, and a great cathedral. well worth having a nose around. Also, for all the clubbers, the hotel is close top Pacha, Space, Bora Bora and Ushuaïa but also a short walk to the bus stop which will take you to San Antonio. (apart from the disco buses, you need to buy your tickets BEFORE you get on a bus so don't be left waiting for another one!)

The other great thing about this hotel was the rooftop pool! amazing views of Figueretas and and a quiet bar as well so you can always grab a drink. the pool was small, but was always warm, and clean. even thought there were only a few sun loungers, we never had a problem grabbing two. it could do wih some music though!

We would definately stay here again and would recommend this to anyone who woud rather spend their money going out and experienceing Ibiza then spending it all on the hotel.

Room Tip: the fifth floor was ideal as its far away enoyugh from the street to not be disturbed, but not to hi...

Thank you for taking your time in giving us a feedback of your holiday in Hotel Don Quijote and the area of Figueretas. We are fully aware of that we are a 2 star hotel without airconditioning and television, but we do our best to keep our clients satisfied by giving a personal service.
We are very depending of all the comments from our clients as it helps us to give a better service.
Your comments give us an idea where we do well and where we have to better.
Our rooms are situated with fantastic views and the bar at the upper floor has a beautifull view over Ibiza and it´s beaches. Unfortunately we have some robberies taken place in Ibiza, but we try to do our best to keep them to a minimum. We will with pleasure welcome you to our hotel another time.

We stayed here for 5 nights in September. The staff during the day were fairly helpful, the chap who was there on the night shift was not helpful at all.
There is no air con, but you can hire a fan, although there aren't enough for all the rooms, so you need to get in there quick!
The rooms were functional, but the beds were very uncomfortable.
The room and en suite was very tired but cleanish.
The breakfast was fine, about what you'd expect for €4 although there are several other places very close by where you could grab breakfast.
The location is brilliant. About €15 in a taxi from the airport & walking distance to Ibiza Town. The beach us a stones throw away too!

Great service from arrival to departure (not that we required many services) Very basic but thats what I expected for the price you pay. 30 seconds to the beach, 15 minute walk to Dalt Vila. Friendly Reception, clean rooms. Ignore the bad reviews, clearly some people forget that you get what you pay for and as one of the cheapest hotels in such a good location this really is the place to stay if you are on a budget. My girlfriend and I were happy enough to rebook and are going back next week.....
