This villa was lovely, fantastic rooms, dining /lounge space and swimming pool / patio. however as you may have read this company and it's villa's are terrible. we stayed with this company last year in a different villa, like many other bigfoot customers on this site we were burgled in very similar circumstances- 2nd night, taxi to san antonio. we had read the advice and followed it to the letter.they had damaged several windows and a door breaking in and had attempted to get in the seperate flat upstairs. however it was the lack of response and customer service that ruined our holiday rather than the burglary itself-(fortunately most of us have managed to get the insurance back- the safe was too small for a large villa and we couldn't fit all our valuables in- cash was stolen which we couldn't claim back.the theives were disturbed by some of us coming back earlier than planned, they had started to try and smash the safe out of the wall ) after calling the police (who were very helpful through out) we tried to contact the villa staff on the emergency number, there was no response for a long time. the damaged doors/windows were never fixed, which meant we were unable to leave the villa as a whole group for the remainder of the the week.those who had been in rooms where windows were damaged felt unsafe and did not want to stay. during inspecting the damage we realised that many of the windows and doors hadn't been particularly secure before. having had so many previous problems with break-ins perhaps bigfoot should up-grade and put alarms/better locks etc in it's properties. we were offered no security guard or exchange of villa. on the morning of our departure we were woken early by the next group of holiday makers wanting to get into the villa, they had been told by their company (who share the villa with bigfoot)that they would be able to get in early. clearly no information is shared between the two companys and they can jsut blame each other! the windows and doors were still unsecured as they began their holiday. we are still seeking compansation. i wonder if we should join and contact watchdog. i think at the very least this company is not taking it's security responsibilities or customer service seriously enough. at worst there's something dodgy going on!

As a tour operator working for the past 12 years (both in UK and USA) travelling from Hong Kong to Seychelles, have never experienced something so downright disgusting and suspicious.

11 ladies (30s and over) stayed in Villa Paxti in May 2011. We arrived separately, however on our reunion night, planned a themed night out and ordered 3 taxis around 9pm.

It seems just shortly after 9pm our alarm sounded. As we were having dinner in Ibiza town and had put on the alarm, closed all windows, locked doors etc etc never dreamt of what could happen next.

On arrival back to the villa around 3am we found a written note from the manager along with a poplice report stating 'False Alarm'.

False alarm... 1 broken door on terrace, 1 alarm ripped out of the wall, 1 door kicked in from patio, 3 stolen passports, £2,000 worth of missing jewellry, cameras, phones, i-pods, not to mention entuire suitcases taken. FALSE ALARM??

Next morning the girls spent 3 hours at police station (with translator) and police KINDLY changed to 'FORCED ENTRY / BURGLARY.

LUKE (owner) stated to me on phone.. oh we've never had this problem before... WHATEVER. Besides asking us to pay to fix the broken door, state there was a suspicious boy on a bike a few days before, but didn't think it necessary to tell us...

Needless to say the trip was a disaster. In all my years of helping clients stay safe, warning them of any previous issues this was the worst. Its not the face we were burgled... you can't help that but the response was weak, with an attitude of 'sort it out yourselves' and an air of 'you must deserve it' I cannot express enough my disgust with LUKE, BIGFOOT IBIZA AND CHAMONIX AND TO AUTHORITIES IN IBIZA.
