We found out about this place from a friend of ours in Spain, it is only 1.45 minutes from the Toulouse airport and it has been the ski resort for the Spanish high society including the royal family, for many years. The Spa is the highlight of the hotel and the food is excellent like all the Catalan cuisine.

Our room had beautiful views of the Pyrenees; they were very nice and comfortable with oversized beds that are unusual for Europe. The bathrooms were small but very nicely done with great amenities.

The service was excellent, which sometimes in Spain it can be hit or miss. The other nice thing is was the ski shop it was well equipped with a ski butler to take off your boots and a machine that dries and sterilizes the boots.

The ski runs were for all levels, I am not an avid skier and it was great for me, but my friend is an advanced skier and he found it to be just as great for him.

The hotel provides transportation to the local town of Baqueira which has some very good restaurants and bars. During the day you can go shopping here.

I recommend this place because it is not crowded or overrun. I give this place a 5 star rating.
