Our starters were quite honestly delicious. The cheese saganaki was the best we have had this holiday and the white bait which was a good portion size were cooked perfectly without being too dry and crispy. The aubergine salad starter which was again a large portion, was a bit too rich for me to finish but it was really good.
My husband had the moussaka - nothing left on the plate so suffice to say it was beautifully cooked and seasoned with a delicate amount of nutmeg. I had the stifado having read other reviews raving about it but although it was tasty, I found it slightly dry and felt it could have done with another half and hour in the oven. My son ordered the pastitsio but to his dismay they didn't have any. The owner offered to get his mother to make some for him the following day! He then completely out of out of character ordered the pork special of the day! The pork which was cooked with lemon was so soft he could cut it with his fork. He devoured the whole lot.
If you want a good, genuine Greek meal with good but unhurried service then this is the place to go!
