We just got back from a week staying at the Andreas Apartments and enjoyed it but the opening times are an issue. The pool and bar opens at 10:30 and closes at 18:30.The bar then opens for 1 hour at 21:30 which seemed pretty pointless as we had to go to town every evening for dinner and by the time you get back up that steep hill the bar is closing or closed.
We had 3 teenagers with us and so had to buy lots of drinks during the days that we spent by the pool, it was really expensive for water from the bar as we were not allowed to bring any from outside.
The apartments were very clean and tidy thanks to the the one person on site who seems to do everything, don't know her name, but she definitely deserves a medal and a day off as while we were there she did not have one.
The BBQ on the sat was nice but expensive for 15 euro each, for a family of 5 with no drinks included was by far the most we paid all week compared to the restaurants that had a much better variety of food and drinks included.A bottle of red wine was 14 euro but we found it for 5 euro in the supermarket in town.
Overall we did enjoy our holiday and loved the Island as we did manage to travel round and saw some beautiful views, went on a boat cruise to Fiskardo, hired a car and visited the national park and Drogarati cave which was amazing,we would highly recommend a holiday to Kefalonia but would not recommend the Andreas due to all of the restrictions and prices.
