We ate here twice during a recent stay in Lezzeno at the nearby Nest on the Lake. Tino, the owner, recommended it for it's delicious pizza. We were on foot (so we could enjoy a glass or two of wine) and it was about a 10 minute walk from our b and b but though it sloped down to the lake, it was an easy walk. There's a car park so we could have used the car. We ate outside, under the covered balcony right next to the lake. The views are spectacular toward Bellagio and over to Lenno. Herons flew by just above the water and swans and ducks swam past. The first evening we were already eating when fellow guests at the Nest came in and invited us to join them. The staff rearranged the tables and held our main meal while the others caught up quite happily.
The food is simply done and well cooked. We had delicious bruschetta, pizzas and steaks - all delicious. With wine and beer, our bills were around €50-60 for the two of us.
The owner is friendly (doubles as a hospital visitor clown called Caramello) and the waitress was knowledgeable and gave us service with a smile. Plenty of Italians were eating there which is the mark of good Italian food for me.
