We stopped here originally just for a drink having taken the funicular railway up to Brunate - the restaurant is situated down off to the right as you get off the funicular. After a glass of homemade red wine and seeing them starting to cook the food we decided to stay for lunch and we were not disappointed! We had opted for swordfish/trout with polenta, baked potatoe and salad and werent disappointed. The restaurant has the most stunning views and run by the most welcoming people. In total we had 4 red wines, 2 beers (also homemade by the owner), 3 fish meals with salad and the bill was 86 euros (£68) ... not particularly the cheapest but definitely the best! Would definitely recommend this restaurant.
