“Excellent wines, gorgeous property, basic tour”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 6, 2013

While this is not the best wine tour by any means, the wines are some of my favorites from Valle de Uco, the property is gorgeous, with perfect Andes views, and the restaurant serves a nice lunch. Be we go here to taste the wines and to buy the wines. Much cheaper buying these wines here than in any wine store. The entire Reserva line is excellent, and a great value. If you go up to the Gran Reserva you are talking wines that are memorable.

“Incredible stop”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 15, 2013

We arrived at the Bodega Bousquet by pure coincidence but couldn't be happier to have found it!

The food, the wine and the scenery was breathtaking, the service excellent that we decided to stay over night in cute cabañas with all amenities needed.

Highly recommend a wine tasting experience at the Domaine Bousquet bodega!
We will definitely come back soon.

“Confusion”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 22, 2013

There is the Bodega (winery) wich was called until recently Domaine Jean Bousquet. Jean left, and now it is Domaine Bousquet. The comments here about wine tours are from the winery.

The winery Domain Bousquet has an exceptional restaurant called Gaia.

There was until recently a restaurant Jean opened called Jean Bousquet Restaurant, it was nearly next door to the winery, but not not associated with it. The negative restaurant reviews are for there.

They are not the same place. The restaurant recently closed and was bought out. Jean learned the hard way that the restaurant business is harder than it looks.

I have consulted for both for the Bodega and the Gaia Restaurant, but am not currently associated with them. I ate there in January and recommend it. My ratings are based on that visit.

“Worth the stop”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 17, 2013

We were toured through the winery by Paula who was very friendly and knowledgeable. We finished with a wine tasting on the patio of the restaurant. Love the wines!

“Hannah was the best winery host we had this trip”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 27, 2013

We showed up without reservation in front of the Bousquet gates as we didn't have a reservation and our next winery was 1,5 hrs later. This was the only time in the Mendoza area that we managed to have a tasting without appointment. Which shows that the wineries really have to change their policy. You don't allways want to have a reservation and you don't allways want a full tour, in the end the tours are all the same.
Hannah made our day, with enthousiasm she explained about the Bousquet wines and gave us a choice which wines to try (tasting of the best wines is pretty expensive but at least you get a good tasting here, sometimes you pay a lot and get only a sip).
Recommended because the premium wines are really tasty, will see if I can get them in europe.
