At the end of our stay on the Bodrum peninsula, we made a quick afternoon trip to Gumusluk, well known for its fish restaurants and quaint undeveloped beach front. There are many restaurants to choose from, but we had heard about Yakamoz from a friend in Turgutreis. The staff was helpful and pointed us to a fresh fish in our budget. The monkfish was delicately cooked in a delicious garlic butter herb sauce with just a hint of spiciness. The mezze were good accompaniments. Like all beachfront restaurants on the peninsula, the prices are for tourists but well worth a splurge.
