Our special weekend was quiet and peaceful. The food was first rate and the hospitality second to none. It was lovely to enjoy the first class fishing in the provided boat and later recline in a lounger to read my novel.

We spent Canadian Thanksgiving at the Sheridan Lake Bed & Breakfast as a weekend getaway. It was recommended to us by friends who said we JUST had to go for a stay. The B&B exceeded our expectations. It is set right on Sheridan Lake with your own private beach and dock. The suite is tastefully, luxuriously and immaculately furnished, equipped and decorated. The breakfasts are culinary creations worthy of a 5-star hotel. The area is an outdoor paradise with lots of opportunity to walk, quad, boat, hike and explore. We will definitely book another stay if and when the opportunity presents! You will not be disappointed.

Room Tip: There is only one suite, which ensures privacy and quiet.

This is the most beautiful place, inside and out! My husband and I went to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary; and we will be back.
Natures Doorstep is a very new and beautiful home on the waters edge. Every detail of this property caters to the B&B visitors, right down to your very own dock with a chairs, table and umbrella. Your private yard is just that, private! It is beautifully appointed.
Inside is a cozy but classy area to sleep, eat and entertain. We loved the set up that you can see from the pictures on their web site. Every situation was thought of when they stocked the kitchen and if you forgot something, I'm sure it was there.
The bed is very cozy and wonderful, as is the bathroom. The tub is sooooo nice and we both enjoyed a peaceful bath at one time or another.
The breakfast was like unwrapping a Christmas present when we would open the cupboard door to retrieve it....fabulous idea!!! We would often have enough for lunch! The fruit parfait was my favorite! The entrées were always hearty and delicious! Extra touches were duly noted. Came with orange juice too!
The TV was top of the line...as was the DVD player. Games and magazines were at your fingertips.
The weather was cold and very windy( for heavens sake, it is October), but we would of loved to try the kayaks provided for your enjoyment; I'm sure it would have been a great experience.
All in all, we would definitely come back...in the summer would be great!!!

Oh, I should add that this place is very clean!!!! VERY!!!

Another wonderful relaxing trip! We caught fish in our belly boats in the lake right in front of the cabin. Breakfasts were fabulous as usual. So nice to sit on your own private dock and read a book or gaze at the lake.

This property and its owners deserve their perfect 5* rating. Vance and Deborah are personable and so easily make guests feel at home in their lovely, self-made home by the lake. Despite the fact that they’ve worked very hard to build their home and B&B (and it’s still a work-in-progress), they are not hung up on guests being themselves, relaxing and enjoying all their property and the lake have to offer.

We chose the Sheridan Lake B&B six months before our son was to be married at a nearby fishing camp. We wanted to be close but still have a comfortable place to relax and enjoy a mini-holiday while the “kids” visited with friends and prepped for the wedding. We sat on the dock, kayaked, swam (more like a quick dip… the lake was chilly early September), enjoyed the loons calling and trout jumping, gazed at the brilliant constellations and totally savoured our time away from the city.

A few words of advice: If you smoke, DO NOT book here. One owner has health issues so smoking is not at all possible on the property. Also the suites are so immaculate that those of us who have been fortunate enough to stay here know this B&B is for people who enjoy clean, fresh air and want to savour the sensory beauty of this pristine area of BC.

Room Tip: Either suite is well appointed and comfortable with private patio, dock, bbq, etc. Suite #1 is attac...

A PERFECT place "at Natures Doorstep ". This holiday was incredible in every respect. our gorgeous suite was beautifully and tastefully appointed. The attention to detail was so complete we lacked for nothing; everything had been anticipated. We were allowed to simply "be", soak up the beauty and totally relax. One went to sleep with moonlight streaming in, listening to Coyote conversations and the calls of loons. Gorgeous sunrises welcomes every day. The lake itself is beautiful and serene, with excellent boating, fishing, and swimming. Our suite had its own private dock, BBQ, and garden with copious quantities of vibrant blooms spilling from the pots. The Fitness Center is hiking thru the forest or exploring the lake...the "pool" is an entire lake outside your door. Each morning, our gracious hosts prepared a repast and slid it thru the "Magic door" . An ingenious way of delivery. They could not have been more caring or attentive to our wishes. This B & B should have 6 stars; we can hardly wait to return.

What an amazing place to stay, not only did it accommodate a couple but it had room than plenty room children. The room was gorgeous. The king size bed was luxurious, the room was clean, and the kitchen was convenient. If it was up for rent I would move in! The fitness center was the wilderness, beautiful places to hike and kayak, can't get a better work out than that.
