“Definitely eat here if you are staying next door”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 9, 2012

Not much choice walking distance. Food & service were fantastic. I donot recommend the ravioli, but the fish entree and the grilled calamari were excellent. The prices are normal for restaurants in Italy. Yes, the decor could be updated but that is not important. Convenience, good food, & great service are all the reasons you should eat here.

“Holy Smoke..where'd this place come from??”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 9, 2012

This modest little restaurant in the middle of "nowhere" (coincidentally happens to be next door to First Hotel...reviewed on their page) is just excellent. Run by the two old muppets who are always in the balcony of the muppet shows, the food was excellent there were a treasure with their excitement. Had the calamari and risotto and both were terrific. Fun experience with a modest price. Go there for sure.

“Wonderful place! You either get it... Or you don't.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 15, 2012

Save for our flight being cancelled and having to stay at an hotel near the airport, I never would have believed I would find myself not only eating at this restaurant, but taking the time to write a raving Yelp review.
Run/administered/served by at least two older men who have been associated with the place for almost 50 years, I cannot help but say this is truly one of those few magnificent places one rarely comes across.

“Disgusting”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed July 22, 2012

I wonder how this restaurant could be this rated in here.
Perhaps is popular for tourist who are going to fly from Malpensa airport which is nearby but I am Italian and the food was terrible from A to Z.
Rice was watery and tasteless, Veal cutlet was old. The garnish of the cutlet was a radish that from some reason (ie the same old radish was used and reused) was a bit yellow and red at the bottom - disgusting.
The restaurant probably opened 40 years ago and nothing changed: the decor, the cutlery and even the waiters that now must be 80 or so (they were nice though). If you want to see how an Italian erstaurant was in the '70s then please come to eat here but do not expect to eat great food.
