Do not stay here!! I agree with the other reviewer - this hotel should be avoided at all costs.
The room is unpleasantly hot, and so we had to leave the window open. I would've had no problem with this, except that there was clay pigeon shooting going on very close to the hotel, and the constant shooting noises gets annoying after a while!
Also we checked in on a Saturday at 10 a.m., and were told that the bar & restaurant were closed all day until 8 p.m. We could not get any food or anything to drink!!! We were told that we would have to get another taxi to Charleroi to get some food. The young man on the main desk was extremely unhelpful, and just asking if it was possible to get even a can of coke seemed to irritate him, because he had to go into the back room to get it! The website was misleading, saying that snacks are available round the clock, and they have an extended breakfast til noon. We arrived at 10a.m. and were hard pushed to get even a can of coke which we were charged €3 for!!!
The taxi from airport costs €15 each way, plus room is €70 so €100 in total. Totally not worth the money. The "free shuttle service" advertised on some websites does not exist either.
I am not fussy, and all I really want is a clean room and maybe the chance to get a snack, but I can honestly say this was the worst hotel experience I have ever had from the point of view of customer service. This place is terrible, and I will never stay here again.
