“Fantastic, a real treasure.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 23, 2012

My husband had stayed here in April, after transferring from another hotel in the area and came back raving about it. So I was really looking forward to visiting. The house itself is stunning and Lynn and David run it as if you are guests in their home, which of course you are. The rooms are modern and well equipped with everything thought off down to an I phone charger if you need it! On arrival fresh milk is delivered to your room along with a home made scone and cream, with the welcoming words if you need anything just ask, there is even a a basket for laundry if you need, which suited my husband as he went running every day, so it was good to get his gear cleaned. Each day when we returned, more fresh milk and home baked cake was brought up. The house has a lovely living room with a huge TV, plus a full size snooker table.

Breakfast was available whenever suited us, and kippers had been purchased as Lynn and David remembered my husband had had them on his previous visit. Nothing is too much trouble to the owners Lynn and David, they even give you a front door key if you are going to be out late. The setting of the house is stunning, tucked away but very close to the A55 and near to all the attractions of North Wales, we will certainly be back again next time we are visiting family, a true gem and a real find. You will not be disappointed.

Very friendly owners. Stayed in a twin room which had two double beds. Very clean and nice surroundings. Perfect for one nights stay. Would visit again for longer.

We've just returned from our third weekend at Bodlonfa Hall with friends and had another great weekend. Lynne & Dave are lovely hosts and provide everything you could need. The rooms are spacious & beautifully furnished. When we arrived Dave greeted us with fresh cream scones and we relaxed on the lawn enjoying the view of the duck pond & summer house - idyllic, especially on a sunny afternoon. After we'd eaten at the Prosperity Chinese restaurant in Rhuddlan we'd no inclination to find a pub for the rest of the evening. Instead we headed back to the Hall for snooker & drinks. Breakfast was big enough to keep you going until teatime - fresh fruit salad, yogurt etc, wide choice of cereals & full cooked breakfast. On the second day there was another tasty afternoon treat waiting for us after our day out. We ate at the New Inn in Dyserth - the food was good but we had to wait over an hour for it, and then it was straight back to the Hall. On the final day we headed to the beach & sand dunes at Prestatyn for a few hours. Then back home, totally chilled & relaxed. Thanks Dave & Lynne!

What a find. We concur with everything said by the other reviewers. We have stayed in seven different hotels and B&Bs in the area during the past twelve years whilst visiting family but there was always something not quite right be it uncomfortable beds, small bedrooms, indifferent service, mediocre breakfasts etc. Problem solved! In future we will always try and stay at Bodlonfa Hall but I think this may become increasingly difficult as word of this fantastic B&B and its wonderful hosts gets out.
Thank you Dave and Lynne

A beautiful house with friendly and welcoming hosts. Only stayed one night, but would love to have stayed longer and will definitely come back again. Rooms were immaculate and the breakfast was excellent.

I honestly don't know where to start to try and explain how brilliant this B&B is! The full-size snooker table, the enormous bedrooms, the incredible fry-up the morning after? Or the amazing grounds the house is set in? What about the hosts who made us feel welcome from the minute Dave carried our bags upstairs and we tucked into our homemade scones, to the time we left, being waved off by Lynne after a relaxing morning of great food and lounging around by the pond/lake! We stayed here for a friends wedding, but we'll be going back for a holiday on our own!

Where's the 6th star?!

Room Tip: They're all massive as we compared rooms :-)
