We stayed in the Iris Studios in Kardemena, Kos for 1 week in September 05' and loved it! The apartment itself was very, very basic but it was clean and you could live in it. Clean sheets and towels were delivered twice in the 1 week we were there and the cleaner came in every day to clean the apartment and replace toilet rolls etc. The room had a small kitchentte and all rooms had a balcony which was good. This isnt 5 star luxury, but it is a good basic base to stay, if like us your out evey day travelling the island and basically only going back to the apartment to sleep.

Kardemena itself was fantastic. Lots of resturants, pubs, clubs, bars and shops to keep you happy. I felt very safe walking round the town in the evening and the harbour is very pretty and pictureresque.

Food prices were reasonable as were drinks, lots of buy one get one free's which were good! Plenty of oportunity to travel around the island with excursions to almost every part of the island. We went to Kos Town, which was really pretty and beautiful, Zia at sunset, which again was lovely and Tingaki, which has a fantastic beach.

All in all, a good place to stay and good resort for a fantastic holiday. Would recommend, Iris Studios, Kardemena and Kos to everyone.
