Returned a couple of weeks ago - our 3rd visit to this hotel - now part of a 4 hotel group - a very good hotel in a quiet location but close to the sea. All staff very helpful and friendly. Room clean - high floor with good views. Food good - buffet meals outdoors on the terrace or indoors and a BBQ with music and dancing.
We always walk into Kos town. It's about a 2 mile walk and cycle route into the town but it is on the flat with shops and bars on the way. The fruit seller is always there on the way to the town handing out fresh fruit to passers by. However, the bus stop is close by the hotel, plus bicycle hire and quad bikes, and plenty of taxis about.
We always hire a car for 3 days touring about - lots to see - visited Kardamena, Zia, Kefalos, Thermal Springs and many historic sites and ruins. There is also a little train that goes around Kos town which starts at the waterside by the castle. Another day we went over to Turkey by hydrofoil and spent the day in Bodrum. Kos town is lovely - lots of bars and shops and all the boats lit up in the harbour at night.
A very relaxing holiday and hope to return again one day.
