if youstay at the holiday village and want to go on trips check out before you go as first choice have very few trips and the only way to go down town is by taxi once down the town panda are very good expecially if you want to swim with the dolphins i did and had a lovely time it was fantistic despite first choice telig me they do not have dolphins in turkey as they were ill treated this is very wrong they are well looked after . the dolphin centre is in Marmaris .also be aware of the eco jeep safari and the sailing boat trips unless you like water bombs thrown at you and getting very dirty and dusty the travel reps will not tell you this we found out the hard way it is very frightening if you have young children

Room Tip: it does not matter which room you have as ther will always be noise

Hi Just returned (10th October) after spending a week with our 7 and 3 year olds; Like most bit nervous having read so many mixed reviews and overall it is a good holiday and would recommend, The hotel complex is spot on - well kept, clean, friendly staff, with lots of pools and daytime activities to keep the kids occupied and the day trips we went on were all good value and enjoyable - the kids will love it !.

On the downside - the beach is not upto much (mud coloured sand and stones), the hotel is very isolated so really missed being able to nip out and have a walk and browse through local shops, bars etc,etc (the village of sagrime is 20mins walk away and consists of 15 or so shops and a couple of bars). The food . . . . . much has been said about the food and to be honest we found it to be poor, whilst it was cooked okay it was no more than i'd expect to be served in a works canteen and some nights the choice was very very limited - it was poor in comparison to any of the other all inclusive holidays we've been on.

The entertainment was so so and made worse by the timings - Kids show started at 8pm finished at 9 (and it was the same show every night !!!! whihc at best was on a par with hiring a poor kids entertainer for a birthday party). After an hours an interval of bingo (and silly games aimed at neither kids or adults), the main cabaret started at 10pm (by which time the kids were either bored senseless or too tired) - so most nights we went back to the room by 9 with not a lot to do. (Should try and bring it all forward an hour and start at 7pm and cabaret on from 9pm !!!) - Cant fault the Firstchoice entertainers they did they're best !!!

All in all we did enjoy the holiday though - especially if you don't expect too much, prefer quiet evenings and want too spend some quality time with the kids.

I have never in all of my life thought of myself as a snob or middle class but this hotel made steptoe look like royalty! I have no problem with people who have tattoos or who choose to start drinking at 10am but I have a big issue with britians who are loud, rude and have no manners! I wasn't sure who was the rudest, the kids or their awful parents!

I read a number of reviews before booking this holiday and thought the reviews were full of people who had nothing better to do that moan, but seriously it was as bad as the reviews and worse!

The hotel staff tried there best but coming to the end of the season you could tell they were tired and looked forward to being away from the rabble they had to deal with day in day out!

On the plus side 14 days of amazing pancakes had been a bonus!

All in all if you have a family, you leave your pleases and thank yous in England and only care about yourselves this place is defiantly for you!

We booked this last minute were advised to ignore too much emphasis on kids in brochure as the schools had gone back and the holiday village was large enough to accommodate families and couples. We do like children by the way.
Loved Sarigerme villiage, loved Ken at Basket tours had a superb day out at mud baths and Turtle beach, first visit to Turkey and thought it really pretty.
Downside, beer watered down, wine not very pleasant, restaurants were good, staff mostly friendly, hotel immaculate. Chill bar was over run with kids, found one pool we tried to sit at to read but tannoy was so hi de hi loud it was annoying and there was always a loud family yelling at their kids not too far away, very noisy in corridors children racing up and down early hours of morning, in fact there was noise as soon as you set foot on the complex, yes the gardens were beautiful, high standards of cleanliness just as well as the staff certainly had their work cut out for them, felt a bit ashamed to be English actually. Would I go back......No.......but would visit Turkey again. Oh and we haven't got tattoos and yes most people were very severely tattooed, is it a fashion to have your children's names on your arms in case you forget them?

Room Tip: Ask for a quiet one if you want to sleep.

I have just returned from 7 nights with my partner at Holiday village and I have to say it was brilliant and pure luxury!!!
The room was fabulous, very clean, large bed and close to reception. We also had designs made from towels and fresh flowers most days. House keepers were hard working and helpful.

The food was lovely, plenty of choice and lots of space to sit. Also try the a la carte restaurants, especially the turkish one,I felt like the queen!!!

The pools and gardens were just beautiful and the beach was lovely and close by.

The entertainment was a bit disappointing at night but there were plenty of evening trips to do or the serigermie town was only a five minute taxi ride.
The drinks were lovely. The alcohol was watered down, this was fine though as there was no drunken behaviour. The white wine was quite strong and delicious!

Be sure to check out Panda tours in the town of serigermie. They give discount if you book on a sunday. The tours were so good and such value for money. Adnam gave a very personal touch and really looked after everyone. After the jeep safari my face was sore from laughing so much! They also offer a cheap taxi service into any of the nearby towns and will pick you up whenever you like.We ended up doing 4 tours with Panda and it really made our holiday and showed us the real turkey. The local tour companies are much cheaper than booking at the hotel and will give a much more realistic experience.

We went at end of season which was just perfect. I dont think we would have enjoyed it as much at peak season. We had a lovely romantic holiday and the other holiday makers were really friendly. I would definitely recomend this hotel and I would definitely return. Turkey is a beautiful country and the people are just great!!!

Room Tip: We had a room close to reception. It was very quiet.

Booked this last minute. Looked lovely in the pics so ignored all the bad reviews. Big mistake ! Hotel and staff were lovely but the clientele in general were awful. Mostly loud, obnoxious and ill mannered. Chose October thinking there would be fewer kids. But no and ironically the kids really needed to be at school, got their manners from their parents. Don't normally mind kids and even some of the quieter families with kids often looked on in horror at the way other families were behaving. I felt ashamed to say I was British if the Turkish think this is normal behaviour ! Food great if you like living on greasy food. A la carte restaurants food very nice but again when invaded by loud obnoxious families in their own selfish bubbles it kind of ruined the whole experience. Will never visit a Holiday Village again.
