“Simply the best!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 6, 2010

A beautiful, luxury hotel in stunning, well maintained grounds. The Hilton Dalaman is worthy of its 5* with friendly, helpful and attentive staff and spacious sumptuous rooms.

We arrived at the hotel at 1am in the morning and were greeted from the taxi by a young porter who took our luggage and showed us to our room, as we were admiring the well laid out lobby. Although our room was classed as a "guest room", it was of the highest standard and very well equipped, including iron/ironing board, hairdryer, personal safe, and ice bucket (ice machines are located at various points along the corridor!).

There are many excellent restaurants and modern bars in which to relax and unwind, although the main Sarigerme buffet restaurant really caters for every taste with its wonderful array of dishes. The pools are gorgeous, both indoors and outdoors, with many different sunbeds. I felt the water was a little cold for swimming in mid-April, however, the children enjoyed the aqua park with its slides and flumes.

We were lucky enough to see the first show of the season in the open air ampitheatre, put on by the entertainment team, and hosted by Murat, who was lovely (and particularly good with the children). There are many activities, including mountainbiking, water polo, yoga, etc., even table tennis and darts, as well as various water sports, available on the hotel's private beach.

The hotel itself is only a short drive from Dalaman airport, but it is rather isolated, although there are several excursions to enjoy and the small local town in only a short walk away. The mud baths at Dalyan is a must!

We did endure a couple of days toward the end of our holiday when an abundance of stranded passengers arrived from cancelled flights due to the Icelandic volcanic ash. However, I have to say that the staff managed well under the extreme circumstances and we did not let this spoil our otherwise perfect holiday.

We had a fantastic stay at the Hilton Dalaman and my daughters and I cannot wait to return.

I booked the Hilton as an anniversary surprise for my wife and boy did this place go down well.

To start off with, the hotel facilities are fantastic, brand new and most the expensive sofas in the extravagant lobby have never been sat on. You will find quality throughout this hotel, from its rooms, restaurants, bars and through there staff.

This is the first time I can say that the staff really add to your stay at the hotel. The friendly, attentive and personal service you receive has been second to none. Not sure if it the hotel training or Turkish mentality, but either way, its pleasant to know you are being waited on and looked after.

The rooms are generously sized, and the views are beautiful all round. The pools are plentiful and you can away find a private spot to relax and get away. Even when the hotel started getting busy towards the end of our stay, the sunbeds outside were always available as well as pool side decks.

The food is extremely good for a buffet restaurant, and vary everyday. You get your usual, but there is still good variety to try something new each day and doesn't get repetitive. We did not hear of anyone getting food poisoning and neither did we.

Compared to other hotels in the areas, this is 3 times more expensive, so the crowd is much nicer to be around to put it mildly, not lager louts here!

Enough talk, i hope the attached photos do the rest of the talking....

We have just returned from a 7 night stay at one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at. From the minute you arrive you can see the 5* quality and luxury. Rooms are spacious with enormous comfy beds, walk in wet room/bathroom. Staff are all very pleasant and friendly. nothing is ever too much trouble. The main restaurant is excellent with a good variety for all tastes. The desserts are to die for !!! The many bars are well worth a visit. We had a meal in the Turkish restaurant and again the food was excellent as was the service. Pools were a little cold but once in were very enjoyable. Abundance of sunbeds, especially the comfy double mattresses with pillows and canopy.

Location is very quiet and remote, but with the quality and facilities at this hotel you do not require any extra outside activities if you just want a relaxing holiday. The local town is about a 20 minute walk with a market and a few shops and bars.

We could not fault anything about this hotel and will most definitely be returning again soon.

The Room: It was fantastic, it was cleaned for us every day. My only moan was the Mini bar always had Fat Coke instead of Diet... But thats my only complaint there... everything else was great.

The Food & Drinks for the Whole Hotel: Brilliant highly recommended.

Reception: Polite but had no idea what was going on around the hotel, we weren't given anything when we arrived, so we found out most things from others. We were even shown to a room that had someone already sleeping in it on our arrival, much to the embarrassment of the bell boy. It's okay the occupant was fast asleep it was the early hours of the morning.

The Management: Fantastic always on hand and keen to ensure our stay was enjoyable and memorable. It was we got an extra week here because of the Volcano.

The Gym and Spa: WORLD CLASS. The staff are friendly and the treatments are out of this world but if you can't afford them use the free sauna, steam room and roman baths you'll have a lot of fun.

Swimming Pools: Cold.. but it was early season.

The Piano Bar was great we loved the staff they were very polite, attentive and knew their stuff. The lady who played the piano.. OMG she was awful but the gentleman that replaced her was brilliant I hope he stays. And the couple who played the guitar and sing, although he played very well and she sang in tune her. English was awful so the songs weren't great.

The Business Centre: In a time of crisis this was a god send but very very expensive.

Stayed in this hotel for 15 nights because of the Volcano. Like most other people have said on here this hotel was pardise before the Volcano problems, after this it did go down hill, no sunbeds avaiable and guests just drinking all the time making noise at silly hours of the morning, however we did not let this ruin our holiday.

The hotel is all you could want. We arrived at 22.30 and was greated with a nice drink and friendly smiles and taken to our room (which hadnt been cleaned so we moved to another room two doors down) The room was a good size with a nice balcony with staris leading to the pool but you cant use these to exit your room or the back door stays unlocked (unless your on the 4th floor) The staff make this hotel special, everytime you walk past a memeber of staff they will make a effort to say hi. By the end of the 15 nights here most of the staff knew us and would come and talk to us made us feel that bit more special.

Enterainment, we was lucky enough to be there when the main enterainment started, which was a show every night in thier Ampithetre, the show varied from Bingo (some of the prizes were very good and it was free) to Mr and Miss Hilton, to a dance show performed by the enterainment team. I know after becoming friends with one of the team they worked VERY hard on thier shows so they are worth a watch. After this there is the Prive disco. This is open untill 2am and is good sometimes me and my friend were the only ones there with the staff and we had a good old time. If you wanted a drink after this there is a 24 hour bar, so plenty to choose from.

Like other people have said the local town isnt all that great but for 4 lira you can go to the local market which is on every Friday, well worth a visit.

So all in all we had a amazing 15 days here and plan to return soon!

From checking-in to checking-out, the hotel was faultless. The staff were exceptional and the service 'spot on' and unobtrusive. The animation team was superb and catered for a variety of interests, for both adults and children alike. The quality of food was consistently high in the main restaurant, as well as the 'snack bars', and the 'specialist' restaurants are well-worth the supplement.
Our rooms were very well appointed and spacious and the hotel, grounds and many pools are constantly maintained to a high standard.
The spa is very relaxing and we recommend the Hamam treatment - our daughters loved it too! Also if you have the time and inclination, try scuba diving with 'Sharky' - the resident Dive Captain - he's great fun and very well qualified to put even experienced divers through their paces.
We will be returning before the season is out.

We stayed at the Hilton Dalaman for a day when we were waiting for our flight back home to the UK.
When we arrived we could not believe what we were staying in. A long walk to our room along the corridoor was then a silent hush when we entered our room. The room had a king size bed, flatscreen tv, chair, dressing table, shower, bath, toliet, sink, fridge area and a balcony with stuning views.
The food at the hotel was excellent with a choice of over 40 hot dishes along with salads, soup and desserts. You could not decide what to eat. The drinks were all inclusive so no one was left wanting.
There was a number of different bars which you could spend endless hours in.
There was 10 pools with some being indoors, there own private beach which was excellent and the sea was clear blue.
