It's not a 4 star hotel. 3 star maximum. HOTEL. The territory looks good, esp there's a nice sea view from the terrace at the reception. That's probably it. We wanted and asked for a hotel that is child-friendly. We specifically stressed that. But what we got was a hotel with hundreds of steps everywhere! At any time you could see parents carrying strollers with babies up and down the steps. Moreover, you can't get to the beach without carrying a stroller! There are steps to the lift and lots more right to the beach. Those parents with 2-3 children were sick and tired of carrying kids and stuff up and down and basically just stayed at the pool. ROOMS. Rooms are really bad. Dark, rusty, broken, chipped, cracked etc parts of furniture, mirror, shelves and so on. We had a huge hollow (dent) in a mattress where our baby was sleeping. Did they host elephants in that room before?!? Every single day there was someone at the reception asking to change their room. FOOD. Food in general was good and tasty, but breakfast, salads and dessert were ABSOLUTELY the same for 10 days we stayed there. Desserts deserve another comment :) Just pudding, jelly, canned peaches and some fresh fruit. I remember just 2 cakes in 10 days. I think I could tolerate all that no prob if it were not for the beach. BEACH. It was nice to look at, but again not good for kids. Huge slippery stones along the beach. There were adults who hurt themselves! And ... what was absolutely despicable was sunbeds that cost 5 Euros a set. If that was for a day, that would still be acceptable. BUT when you leave the beach for lunch, you have to take your stuff with you and when you come back to the beach ... you have to pay 5 Euros again!!!! At some other beaches that we traveled to (for e.g. Chrousso) you pay 3 Euros a day. And that was a really great and child-friendly beach :) ANIMATION/ENTERTAINMENT. We were promised super cool and great animation fro children. As many other parents .... we were looking forward to it. You'll never guess how the kids were entertained. 20 min of dancing to the same songs every day. Mini club was open 2 hours a day where a girl who was wearing a BOMO CLUB T-shirt either watched TV or chatted with friends. Lots of people said that they were so disappointed with the hotel that they would never come back to Greece again. INTERNET. And of course Wi-Fi in the lobby. Actually absence of it. I wasted hours sitting, waiting ... trying to connect. I'd rather say there's NO INTERNET in the lobby ...
